We took a quick stop while driving through the city, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise! The food was fantastic—exactly what we were looking for. You absolutely can't miss the fresh orange juice! The service was outstanding as well, with incredibly friendly and welcoming staff.

10 yr old picky eater loved the chicken tenders. Adults had lasagna special meatloaf special Thursday night. Everything was excellent. Waitress Leah was attentive and very kind! Although it might not appear very impressive from the outside, it was truly fantastic! The service was excellent, and the food was both tasty and served quickly. We tried the biscuits and gravy, the egg combo, and the cinnamon combo. The cinnamon French toast was amazing, and the eggs were cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place!

I stopped in for a late lunch and was delighted that they serve breakfast all day. I had the two egg combo with gluten-free toast. I chose Main Street Family Restaurant specifically because they offer gluten-free bread, something that no other restaurant in Albert Lea apparently does. I will be back! I arrived at around 9 AM and chose a spot at the middle bar area. I ordered the House Omelette with Avocado and Crispy Hashbrowns. Honestly, it was the best omelette I've ever had, and the chef cooked the hashbrowns to perfection—so crispy! I took a picture after finishing half of my meal because it was gigantic! It was so delicious that I decided to tip the two chefs, who are brothers. The one waitress did an outstanding job managing all the tables while keeping a lovely smile the entire time. I will definitely come back when I'm in the area again!

While the food was decent, earning a rating of 3 out of 5, it didn’t quite stand out. On the positive side, the service was exceptional — a solid 5 out of 5. The staff was attentive and friendly, making the visit enjoyable. The atmosphere was also pleasant, scoring a 4 out of 5, creating a nice environment to relax and enjoy a meal. Overall, it’s a good spot for lunch, though I hope for some improvements in the food quality.

We were waited on immediately. We had the cutest little waitress. My wife said that. Cathy said it was the best Philly sandwich that she ever had. I had the hot roast beef that equalled the legion in Faribault. Our cute waitress made me a Sundae that was worth driving out of the way for. Actually the whole meal was worth driving out of the way for. I apologize for not complimenting the chef on a job well done. I recommend all get a pay raise!
