Real good dry hot pot. I dunno if it’s like THAT good though; maybe depends on ingredients

delicious, but a little expensive if you like to eat spicy, this place is a must try in manhattan.

They’re so good with the dry Mala (fish). Didn’t like one of their chicken dishes. Overall — can visit once.

it was nice, but prefer a simple manual menu so it could be easy for not Chinese people.the waitress was excellent she had a lot from geduld

Our son is a foodie and when we asked him to take us to a place where my wife, who prefers veggies to meat, his first recommendation was Mala Project. And what an experience. Place is crowded, tables are crammed in but rightly so. More people to experience the gastronomic delights. We had the dumplings and dry pot. The sichuan spices were perfect to the t. Definitely going back there again before we head home. Ver carta

This place never lets me down. Dry pot style is delicious. They give you enough options for large group or individual meal. Mala project is using Toast for seamless ordering which also makes large group ordering less chaotic. The drinks served is good. Cocktails are sweet. Decent beer collection too. Only disappoint was their desert. Did not like it. Will return again for their amazing dry pot.Reservation- they use Resy and also have walk ins. We were a large group and couldn’t get in through Resy and decided to walk in. They accommodated us happily.

We were the first ones through the door at noon on a Saturday restaurant filled up quickly after that. We chose a few dishes which were not the dry pot style I think the place is known for. All of the flavors were very good. I did not love the non-meat dishes (such as veg dumplings).The scallion pancakes with cabbage and chicken were like wet pancakes with very little topping. It was weird though flavor was good but big carb bomb. The dan dan noodles were good. All in all the flavors were tasty I would pick the dry pot next time. Big plus the service was efficient/super sweet guy who pleasantly delivered everything. Quick service.

I did not love the non-meat dishes (e.g. veg knödel.) the cauliflower cakes with cauliflower and huh were like wet pancakes with very little topping. it was strange, although taste was good, but big carb bomb. the dan noodles were good. everything in all tastes was delicious I would choose the next time the dry pot. big plus the service was efficient/super sweet guy, who comfortably delivered everything.
