"The restaurant has great service and a great staff. They have a new drink called the Sno Boi that you should try. Every Tuesday at 2:00 p.m., Lafarge retirees gather here. Jessica and Derek are excellent at keeping our mugs full. The Mug Club membership fee of $50 is well worth it for the discounts on beer, food, and merchandise. The atmosphere is great with good background music at a reasonable volume, clean, and no distractions like TVs or pool tables. It's a perfect place to relax, enjoy a cold beer, good food, and have conversations without having to shout. Definitely worth a visit. The restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays, but open from noon to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesdays through Saturdays."

"Very nice nice Mexican restaurant located in downtown Alpena. This business has the typical selections you expect to see at a sit down Mexican restaurant where the food and the ingredients are fresh and the dishes well made and very tasty. For my entree I had the Burrito Azteca that had chorizo, carnita's, grilled onions, topped with red, green and white sauce and garnished sour cream and avocado. Very very tasty. The burrito was accompanied by Mexican rice and beans that were equally well made and tasty. the true testament of how good this dish was is that I cleaned my plate which I normally dont do and usually have food left over on my plate. the meal was accompanied by gratis house chips and sauce which were excellent and a LARGE house margarita on special for $6 which was oh so tasty and quite a deal in itself. in fact I plan on returning here in the very near future for just the Margarita alone as I am a huge fan of well made ones which this business clearly excels at. Relative to environment it is very casual and very colorful with bright vibrant colors and Mexican theme painted furniture that clearly adds to the dining experience. staff is very friendly with great follow up and appears to be another strength of this business. Overall i had a wonderful dining experience and can attest that the high YELP scores you see on this business are well deserved. i definitely will be returning in the near future to sample other items on their menu and to order another one or two of their Margaritas."

"The chicken bacon wrap and hot pretzels w/ cheese was pretty good but Jack's club would've been a lot better with provolone cheese. But the real reason for the lost star is getting charged more for the most mediocre tater tots. Definitely should've gone with the house-made chips."

"We decided to take a chance and order again, but we were really confused by what we got compared to what we ordered. The Pad See Ew came with a creamy sauce instead of the expected dark soy sauce, and the Spicy Thai Szechuan curry had an unexpectedly thin sauce. Although I wasn't particularly upset about the missing egg drop soup, it was absent from our order entirely. Overall, none of the dishes had much flavor, just a vague oily taste."
