This is the best Italian restaurant I've been to, and the atmosphere is fantastic! I also highly recommend trying the appetizers!

We had the chance to try a new gelato flavor today—caramel macchiato! It’s absolutely delicious! Available throughout April! Five stars!!!

Some of the most delicious Italian food in Austin, and this location is very conveniently located in the southwest area.I highly recommending ordering lunch here. I usually get a panini and soup, and I absolutely love that they include their homemade bread, oil, and spices for dipping at home.One time they did forget something in my takeout order, but I called them and they offered a free cake which was very nice!

This place nailed the vibe yet also has that food chain feel. The entire staff is always on the job. We love ordering out from here. The portions are solid. The small Italian market is a let down. They sell wine, gelato, pasta, pasta sauce but no meat and no cheese. Kinda an Italian market fail in my book. But I'm not going here for any of those items anyway just avoiding cooking dinner and want something other than tacos that will hit the spot!

Delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere! My wife and I celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary at this restaurant, and we were absolutely delighted. It's one of our favorite Italian spots. The only minor issue we encountered was that you need to place your order before sitting at a table. If you're hoping for a good table, you might have to wait to order, and by then, the table you wanted could be taken. It’s not a significant problem, though. My mom has found this place and it was the best decision we've made for 2023!Wonderful Bruschetta, so fresh, perfectly baked with fresh tomato and well balanced olive oiled blend.The oven baked lasagna was perfect, just pure perfection. Cheeses used for lasagna were so fresh, nothing was overly salty, just so well-made dish.I am so happy to find this Italian jewel.The interior design is interesting, enthusiastic, and exciting.Will be back with my mom for upcoming mother's day.Molto bene! Lived here for so long and yet this was my first time coming to a Mandola's! So you stand in line to order first, and then go sit down and they'll bring you your food. They start you off with free bread and olive oil which was honestly delicious. We ordered: 1. Garlic bread with mozz not good. I wish they made it on their free bread, which is so soft and thick and foccacia like. But instead it comes on kind of a crostini style bread. 2. Pugliese pizza really good portion for the price. If you 're in a pinch and jonesin for italian food, this is your spot. First impression: Luby 's of italian food. To be fair, Mandola 's doesn 't have the food sitting out buffet style and someone plating it for you. Not knocking it, it just reminded me of going to Luby 's and standing in line to order your food. The line moves quite fast; ponder the menu while you wait inline and by the time you finish and decide what you 'll have, you 'll be at the counter. You place your order at the counter then go grab a seat. Their service is pretty speedy, as our side salad order was there in no time.
