Manning's Restaurant Bar

The waitstaff at the restaurant are really great, and the bartender is very skilled at what they do.

My husband's father used to take him here when he was a kid. It holds a lot of memories for him. We went in and ate and the food was really good! The garlic bread appetizer is to DIE for!

Rick has the fried chicken special on Thursday as good as any in town, great drinks from Ryan, always a welcome smile at Mannings not to mention great burgers and the only true fry... krinkle baby Ver carta

Seems like a dive... But surprise a nice place. Private parking lot. On a corner in residential area. Food was excellent and drinks were just right. I had a lemon drop drink.in a martini glass! Comfortable spaces. The place is bigger than it looks from the outside! Recommend!

A great hole in the wall family owned and operated spot since 1932! It’s just hard to find places like these anymore. It shows how Manning’s has been able to stand the test of time with tremendous customer service and hospitality! You can not pass up the specials especially the 75 cent wings every Thursday! You’re tastebuds will not be disappointed great wings and great beer nothing like a NordEast with the wings!

Stopped in for a beer, waitress took my order at the bar right away, but said the bartender was busy so it'll be a while. No bartender to be seen for quite a while, finally comes, asked my order again, then filled it, then had to get the waitress so Icould pay for it. Very odd system for sitting at the bar and ordering one beer. Came here based on good reviews, decided notto stay based on the poor service. There were 8 in people in the bar, including me. My search for a pork tenderloin sandwich brought me here. And while the sandwich wasn't quite right (this Iowa expat despairs of finding a decent on in Minnesota it was tasty, if a little thick rather than tenderized and battered not crumb-coated. Definitely need to ask for onions and pickles and on a bun. It comes on toast? Oh Minnesota, you are so weird. What really makes this place shine is the service, attentive and friendly without being pushy. The servers were at ease with all the customers. I'm excited to come back to try their taco salad. From what I could see it looks quite good! (Update: it was a good taco salad, nostalgic and satisfying. Atmosphere here continues to be delightful...

For an early dinner at Mannings. We sat in the dining area. Casual food. The waitress came as soon as we sat down. We bought our drinks and took our order. I had the garden salad and my husband had the soup of the day. My salad was bigger than I expected, very fresh, with tomatoes and cucumber on the side. Lots of dressing. The soup was chicken dumpling, and saw and tasted home made. I had spaghetti and meatballs, and it was fantastic. The sauce was perfect and the meatballs were big and delicious. Giving a 5-star review of any place usually meets with skepticism. How can a restaurant be perfect? Can a local dive bar be as good or better than a Michelin rated restaurant? For one, any review you find on the Googles or the Yelps are customer/user submitted. Rarely will you find a professional food review, whatever that might be worth. But for Manning 's and my recent visit, here 's how it played out. Manning 's is an established Como neighborhood bar and restaurant.
