Manny’s Place - Carta

I visited Tacoma for the first time and discovered this fantastic little gem. My husband and I came for breakfast and were extremely satisfied. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent—this place truly impressed us. Food rating: 4/5

Delicious breakfasts in a fun environment. Everyone is always friendly and welcoming no matter how busy. Love the biscuits and gravy! Great place to take the family where everyone can find something they will enjoy. It's been a family favorite for years now.

I made a last-minute decision to stop here for a post-run meal, and it did not disappoint. The kitchen sink omelet served with a side of French toast was absolutely fantastic—everything about it, from presentation to flavor, was top-notch! I do wish the coffee had a bolder flavor, but it was still better than the usual restaurant coffee. Make sure to arrive early, as it gets crowded quickly. Food rating: 5/5. Ver carta

Recently discovered Manny's place while walking by. They had a pineapple mimosa that intrigued me, and then made me happy. I've tried their chorizo gravy over hash browns and it's absolutely amazing! I went there the first time about a month ago and have been there four times now, which is not my norm. It's just a cool neighborhood joint to have some tasty breakfast food and start off the day with a little bit of a mimosa buzz. Highly recommend.

The food was fantastic, and I used to visit this restaurant a few times a month. However, during my last visit, I felt rushed out as soon as I finished my meal, even though I still had my drink. I would have happily moved to the bar to free up my table, but instead, I was simply asked to leave, which made me feel quite uncomfortable. Perhaps it would be more appropriate for the staff to suggest relocating next time? Because of this poor customer service experience, I won't be coming back.

Delicious food!!! Awesome atmosphere!!! Very nice lights for mood setting! Owner and servers are very nice and welcoming!!! Very nice family owned restaurant!!! We just moved here and after a horrible night of travel my family and I came here the following morning for breakfast and Manny's staff made us feel welcomed and we left with a nice full tummy and very happy! One of the top 3 breakfast places in Tacoma! The food and service were tremendous. The staff was friendly and timely. The food was amazing ? ! I had French toast. The homemade syrup was my only hesitation when ordering but made the dish. If I could bottle it and sell it I'd be rich!My wife had the surfer scramble. The hashbrowns, sourdough toast, fresh ingredients, and salsa were most notable. Tons of flavor.We'll definitely be back. The only thing holding them back from a 5 star review was the bathroom. Not the worst I've seen but hadn't been cleaned in some time and lacked any soap.

So… this Manny walked in to Manny’s Place and had a pint of Manny’s. Salud! ? I was greeted by Cynthia who was super friendly and professional.Juan and Sancho hooked it up with a super tasty quesadilla. Since it looked like a cross, I’ll call it the Crossadilla. This quesadilla had tinga chicken which is an old Mexican recipe for shredded chicken simmered in chipotle sauce. This particular quesadilla had corn, lettuce, diced peppers, and feta cheese? (I think? All, in a spinach tortilla. The effort and flavors that went into this just blew my mind. I was impressed. Gracias and Juan and Sancho!

Value for moneyI've been to Manny's about 10 times now and I have to say, in all of these regards, this restaurant deserves a 5 star rating.The menu has everything you want (except maybe a waffle) and consistently delicious.The staff, every single one of them, is kind, welcoming, prompt, and friendly. Substitutions and split meals/checks are handled with grace.The Atmosphere is warm, calming, and clean and feels a bit more like a home than a restaurant.The prices are very reasonable, the portions are soild without being over the top, and the food is always high quality.So give Mann...
