"Marcia and Joe’s is the definition of a hidden gem. Tucked into the back of The Press bar on Lincoln Ave are two true islanders making Jamaican food so bold and flavorful that it transported me, even while fitting right into the eclectic bar food culture that has been a part of Steamboat since I went to high school here, in the 90s. I am so glad I found this amazing food!As I write this, COVID is surging and businesses may have to lock down again. Marcia (Mar-see-ah, not Marsh-ah) greeted me with worried eyes as I walked in to the empty bar at opening time, but she followed with an easy laugh and she and Joe have a warm nature. You must support this business! This is perfect take out food! The delicious, spicy chicken, tangy chop salad, and fruity rice will make a perfect take out meal. The festivals, a fry bread that’s not unlike a donut, go with everything, as Marcia rightly advised. What a terrific place. Don’t let it slip away! Call ahead! Cater a Thanksgiving! Buy yourself Jerk for your socially distanced Christmas! This place is too good!"

Marcia and Joe’s Kitchen is wonderful! We ordered the wings, jerk chicken, and jammin chicken, and the meat was so tender it practically fell off the bone. I will definitely be dining here again!

Wow, this place is fantastic! The flavors are incredible. It’s definitely the best restaurant food—maybe even the best food overall—that I've had since relocating to Colorado from Louisiana a couple of years ago. I highly recommend the jambalaya, macaroni salad, and jerk wings.

Could be one of the greatest hidden gem in the area. As a guy from Florida who’s been to the Caribbean a number of times, the food was top-shelf.Authentic in style and flavors but with higher quality ingredients than you’d find in “traditional” Caribbean restaurants .Unexpectedly surprised to find some of the best skiing along with the best island food in the same town! But I guess that’s part of what makes this town so great. Ver carta

I can't comment on the quality of the food since I didn't get a chance to try it. I was informed that my takeout order would take 25 minutes, but when I arrived, the food hadn't even begun to be prepared. I ended up canceling my order after waiting for 60 minutes, only to be told it might take another 10-20 minutes. Additionally, I observed that the restaurant is not following COVID guidelines. The tables are positioned closely together, no one is wearing masks, and customers were openly discussing their recent diagnoses. To make matters worse, the restaurant has black curtains over the windows to give the impression that everything is normal outside.
