"I was very confused by the time I left this place. They have a great menu, some great options and some people who work there preparing the food who I believe really like their jobs. However, the cashier was another thing all together. She pretended to not understand that she was overcharging me for certain items and refuse to listen to my explanation. Thankfully, there was a manager nearby, who understood what I was saying. Even he had a difficult time explaining how to make the correction to her. I paid my bill, and I had one last surprise. No one mentioned that there will be a surcharge for using a credit card. I had the cash and if I had known about the surcharge, I would have used the cash. Between the misunderstanding and the flies and the nats, it was rough. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"I was quite surprised by some of the reviews because I had an incredible sandwich there this past Thanksgiving weekend. We were in the area and stumbled upon the place while searching for lunch, and it was our first time visiting. I ordered the Le French Baguette, and I can confidently say it was the best sandwich I've had in over a year—perhaps even longer. I'm still thinking about it and might be becoming a bit obsessed! Everything tasted incredibly fresh: the bread, the ham, the generous slices of brie, the lettuce, and the tomato. Each ingredient complemented the others perfectly, and the Dijon mustard added just the right kick. Since it was made to order, it took about 10 minutes, but it was absolutely worth the wait. I enjoyed it about 15 minutes after picking it up, and there was no sogginess at all. The portion was generous, and the price was very reasonable. Although we live in Manhattan, I will definitely be making a trip back there. I'm looking forward to it and hope they can maintain their high standards!"

"We had a delicious Indian meal. The owners were very welcoming and the food was fresh and delicious. The jackfruit biriyani was excellent. Tastes like chicken. ?. Just kidding but it had a texture similar to meat. If you liked Indian it's a great place to check out. They also have great soups. The Dahl and bindi dishes are amazing.Vegetarian options: It's Indian. Three e are plenty of veggie options.Dietary restrictions: We have gluten allergies and there were plenty of options"

"My boyfriend and I were visiting the Big Apple from the UK. We stumbled across the 100 plant based Spring Cafe for lunch on the way downtown. It is a small place, meant mainly for takeout, but there are a few seats inside and outside. Inside is light and modern, decorated beautifully with plants. We both went for the Hawaiian Vegan Burger with fries and a Hibiscus ice tea. It was absolutely delicious! And good value for money. I cannot recommend it enough."

"I had heard about this place and when I found out that the friends I visited lived only one block away, I had to check it out. we had made a reservation for 9 o'clock, and when we checked in, we were told that the group at our table was ended and would soon be done. we were happy to sit at the counter next to the window front and the menu while we waited. we waited around 20 minutes and the hostess brought us free glasses champagne to thank us for waiting for this. the bar and restaurant itself are beautifully decorated and I really enjoyed taking only everything. I got the inverness (a cocktail) and it was delicious and beautifully presented (like all the other drinks.) the only thing that didn't interest me in this place was eating that we got two different types of oysters that were delicious, but both of the crudo plates we got (the yellow dick and the scallops) were a little underwhelming. the scallops had a truffle sauce on them, and although I love truffle, it was a bit too much. And the yellow **** just felt as if there was something missing, as the aromen did not really complicated. overall it was still a great experience and much fun, and would definitely recommend if they are in williamsburg!"
