"I've been meaning to check out this modern spot for American fare for some time. Glad I finally did. The rustic aesthetic along with the overall vibe and modern touches of Town Square Social make this place a very inviting dining venue. There was a lengthy queue right as they opened (and I mean we were standing in line to enter at 11:00am sharp), but my party was inside within about five minutes. Their service was very respectable and expedient. The menu is a lot to take in, but not to the point of being overwhelming. There are plenty of choices for a wide array of palates. The price point is very respectable for the environment and quality, and then there's the food. Scheisse. The tres carne burger I ordered was phenomenal, and the texture of the tots was exactly to my liking. I regret not getting a pound of the peppered pulled pork to go. You'd be hard-pressed to find better smoked pig anywhere else in Tennessee. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend this gem. Five stars, for sure."

"**FOOD:** The Agusta Chicken was cold and nearly inedible due to its excessive saltiness. My husband dislikes sending dishes back, so he scraped off the sauce, but even then, he found it too salty— and he’s a fan of salt! He also was quite hungry. My Marsala Chicken was hot, but it was also very salty. We couldn’t taste the Marsala at all and joked that the sauce must have been made with beef bouillon cubes. **DRINKS:** We started with Pomegranate Martinis, which were terrible. They were syrupy sweet and had a thick, viscous consistency, clearly not a proper martini. After a couple of sips, I pushed mine to the edge of the table, and my husband reluctantly agreed, saying it was kind of gross but didn’t want to sound negative. **SERVER:** The server seemed disconnected and was just going through the motions. When she asked, “Who had the chicken?” she didn’t even remember that we both ordered it, setting the plates down randomly. She was aware we hadn’t enjoyed our martinis but never inquired why. Instead, she allowed them to sit untouched throughout our meal. When my husband declined a beer, she didn’t check back to see if I wanted anything else. When we later requested a glass of wine and a cup of coffee while we were waiting for our meals, her timing felt off—she hovered awkwardly around our table while I packed up my leftovers and stood there, seeming to wait for me to hurry and finish, saying she just wanted to take some empty plates. It was all quite awkward. **OUR TAKEAWAY:** We spent $100 on overly salted food, poorly made drinks, and an oblivious server. Please, just do better and be better, Wednesday night team! This was such a letdown."

"While we were leaving the store, I noticed an employee being rude to a customer who was just trying to stay quiet. After the customer left, I talked to a woman nearby about the employee's behavior, and she completely agreed, saying she would never return. Although we don’t live close by, we’ve decided not to come back either, and we’ll definitely inform our friends traveling along Highway 231 through Lebanon. It's shocking to see any employee treating customers so harshly and disrespectfully."

"I went to dine in at the restaurant but was met with disappointing service. They close at 9 PM, and as I walked in at 8:25 PM, one of the staff members remarked, "Here come people." Another staff member immediately told me, "You can't dine in. What can I get you to go?" After taking our order, she walked away, and then a young man came over to take our order again. I asked to speak with the manager, but there wasn’t one available. Seriously? If my 84-year-old dad hadn't been at the hospital with his wife all day, and if it hadn’t been storming outside, I would have walked right out the door. I would have given zero stars for the poor attitude of the girl at the front, but I do enjoy the food."

"My husband ordered the pig tacos, which were excellent, and the addition of salsa took them to another level! I went for the sampler platter with wings, pork, and sausage. I’m pretty sure the sausage is homemade; it has the perfect amount of spice along with a robust smoky flavor. The deep-fried potato bites came out hot and crispy. The coleslaw was another delightful surprise. I’m not usually a fan, but this version has no mayo and a good amount of cilantro—it’s fresh, crisp, and surprisingly delicious! The owners, Chad and Jordan, are friendly and very approachable, making you feel right at home. Dining at Voodoo Smokehouse feels like eating at a friend’s house. They’ve certainly raised the bar for BBQ in Lebanon. This was my first visit, but it definitely won’t be my last! I’m looking forward to coming back soon. I love supporting local businesses that provide high-quality products to our community. Keep it up, Voodoo—you’re doing an amazing job!"
