"just adding to address the response. I do take back that you didn't offer an apology, you did. Sorry. However, our conversation and your response still do not address my chief complaint , which was not that your portion sizes were too large but that the person that picked up the phone should have suggested we had too much food and maybe we should cut back on one or tow portion sizes, especially since I made it clear how unsure I was and was looking for her guidance. That is the crux of my issue. i have been a regular patron for decades, by dining in or in some or in this case ordered in. i asked the receptionist for some guidance for 6 people, telling her we wanted 6-7 dishes. We were 6 people with average appetites and half the food is leftover. i understand that 1.5 orders feeds 4-6 people but what the receptionist should have told me once she knew we were ordering that many dishes we should have ordered less dishes ordered the single size portion in some if not all cases. Case in point, she suggested 2 full size trays of garlic bread (which was horrible btw) and 3/4 of it was left over. I unnecessarily spent an exorbitant amount of money on a 6 person meal, trusted the receptionist and should have received better guidance when ordering that many things. when i called back 2 days later to express my feelings to the manager, he basically offered me a refund for the garlic bread, not taking any responsibility for being totally misguided. LP has been doing this for decades and should KNOW that the more the dishes, cut back on the portion sizes...... Had i received a bit more of a token gesture and a small apology, you wouldn't be reading this review. DG"

"THIS IS THE HOLY GRAIL OF DELIS. I wish that was an exaggeration, but I am NYC born and Queens-bred, so judging delis and bodegas is in my blood. Sabeli is 12/10 in every single category, every time I have ordered. I needed to write a review this time because on this occasion, I asked Ms. Michelle to re-create a sandwich I love from a restaurant in the city. She absolutely nailed it- it required caramelized onions which they do not have ready but they took the time to do it for me during their busiest hour of the day (1 pm lunch) and it's those little things that keep us going during our crazy days. Sabeli treats their customers like family, the quality of the food is unbelievable; perfect and fresh to order every time. The service is as fast as possible without compromising on courtesy, friendliness and professionalism. And for those who may be skeptical about the price, I assure you that given the sky-rocketing costs of everything their prices are still extremely competitive and reasonable and barely reflects the incredible quality of the food you get. Sabeli is worth every dollar and visit. Love this place!"

"La comida, las bebidas y el servicio eran excelentes, y nuestra mesa en la parte de atrás miraba hacia el jardín ... lástima que hacía un poco de frío para cenar fuera. El único inconveniente fue el nivel de ruido ya que no parece haber superficies blandas para reducir el ruido. Nos sentamos al lado de una mesa de 6 o 7 y estaban teniendo una conversación animada con muchas risas. Buena gente, pero no estábamos descontentos cuando terminaron. Reina fue una buena relación calidad-precio y volveremos cuando regresemos a Frederic."

"I had eaten at Tenjin a few times. The sushi was ok. But on my most recent takeout order, I ordered a spicy salmon roll and when I bit into a piece, I was literally stabbed in the tongue by a bone. Now, I can understand how some fish restaurants may service a piece of salmon with a bone, but this should not be happening in a sushi restaurant when they are handling such fine cuts of fish. I will never eat there again. I'm lucky it wasn't worse. This really could have hurt someone seriously."
