"The food tasted stale and lacked any flavor, as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. The frappe was disappointing - the cup was only half full and it was missing whipped cream and chocolate topping. I was disappointed with my meal at this restaurant. The food was served cold, not just lukewarm. The portion size of the fries I ordered was disappointing as the box was not even half full. The filet o fish was dry and had a rubbery texture. On the bright side, my orange Fanta was tasty, although it was slightly watered-down. Ver carta

"I rarely ever leave reviews for anything, however Hooks is by far the best restaurant for the incredible food at unbelievable low prices. I have always loved Gyros, I have been going to Grecian Delight for over 20 years because I love their Gyros. Until I ordered one from Hooks about 6 months ago. Hooks Gyro is HUGE, and so incredibly delicious! Nothing can compare to the inc taste and the gigantic size. They are bigger than burrito that you get from Hot Heads, they are loaded with a ton of delicious meat then topped with fresh lettuce, onion, tomatoes, and cucumber sauce. I order one at least once a week and could never get tired of them because they really do taste that amazing. For around $12 you are getting a gyro so large it is almost impossible to eat all of it at once and fries are included. You can barley get a nasty combo meal at the chain restaurants for that price. I also LOVE their breaded mushrooms! Hooks is amazing. Im not sure how it is possible but it tastes better every time I eat there. I recommend Hooks to absolutely loves delicious quality food, and thank God they keep it so affordable too."

"After sitting for 20 minutes without any interaction, the waitress came over and nonchalantly mentioned, "You should place your order now because the kitchen is backed up." This was the first time we had seen her since receiving our drinks, and we definitely weren’t holding up the process! The shepherd's pie tasted like it had been microwaved. It was dry, crusty, and lacked any sauce—almost like eating sand. The pork medallions were the size of half dollars and barely as thick, and we only received two! The special BBQ sauce tasted just like store-bought Hunts BBQ. We couldn’t finish our meals and ended up taking them home to cook them properly and add some flavor. It’s unfortunate, as our experience in February was wonderful, but we won’t be returning. Waiting an hour for food is not my idea of a good time, especially with only 15 to 20 customers in the restaurant. "Finally, the chance had to try out their pizza and I must say that they were not disappointed. Many fresh tasty edge to edge toppings and cheese. Love the thinner crispy crust. If you didn't try, it's a clear must. May be my new favorite place."

"Everything was excellent. The portions were generous. The Applewood Smoked Pulled Pork sandwich and the Smoked Beef Brisket are exceptional. This was my second time ordering them, and they were just as fantastic as the first. The Baby Back Rib Sandwich is absolutely amazing – I can’t wait to try the half rack! My son really enjoyed the Fried Mac and Cheese Bites. The Fried Sweet Corn with Bacon, Onions, and Peppers was decent, but it could’ve been better if the bacon hadn't been overcooked. Overall, I highly recommend Brent's if you're a BBQ lover."
