"Such a cute little cafe! Came here when heading up North and I am so glad I did! The cafe is super adorable. At the entrance they have books you can read while dining in. They also have a wide variety of pies! I ordered the spinach omelet with yogurt and grapefruit juice. The food came out relatively quick; everything was super hot and delicious. The waitress was very accommodating and helpful when ordering and checked in on us to ensure we were doing okay. The price for everything was VERY inexpensive. Breakfast for two was under $40! "Table service was fabulous, our waitress was very friendly and she greeted us and told us about the daily specials. She recommended items that she enjoys herself. I went with the boneless garlic parmesan wings and they were phenomenal! I was there on a Thursday evening about 5:30 pm, there was seating available, but not many left. They are busy and they are able to keep the traffic flowing. The food came out in a decent amount of time. The atmosphere was family friendly considering it is a full service bar and restaurant. I will definitely be back to try some of their other food options. Parking: They do have onsite free parking lot, be careful as there are some potholes. Also, the lines for the parking spots are nonexistent so some of the vehicles can take up multiple spots. There is also two entrances into the bar and restaurant, either is fine to enter."

"While driving through town, we were searching for a spot to grab lunch and maybe catch a glimpse of the British Open. The Northern Divide is located within a golf clubhouse and has a distinctly cozy 'northern MN' vibe, complete with a fireplace, stone accents, and log cabin walls. I decided to go with the soup and salad lunch special. The chicken and dumpling soup was hearty and served nice and hot alongside oyster crackers, although it was a bit on the salty side. The garden salad was fresh, featuring ripe tomatoes and cucumbers, though the onions were a touch overwhelming. The croutons could use improvement; they were soft and would have been much better if they were crispy. There was an extensive selection of sandwiches, and my husband opted for the Club, which he enjoyed along with some kettle chips. Overall, it was a nice lunch, and the service was excellent. We also relished the beautiful views of the golf course from the clubhouse."

"My first time here. The food, service, atmosphere are all so wonderful. I was so impressed. Very lovely. Just one tiny criticism: I've heard that in the past (before I was able to visit here and it was a reason I stayed away for as long as I did) the folks who run this place tend to push their faith on people. I have a friend whose husband had a very terrible experience. And the family who owns this place has done rude things to people at their Bible camp. Acting entitled because of their faith. I didn't get that vibe when I was there, so maybe all the complaints that have been posted about Kunnaris got through to someone and they mended their ways. Pretty sure someone could get shut down for persecuting people for not following what they believe is right. Anyway, the Bible verses on the walls were a little off-putting, but the rest of the decor was wonderful. I am open to trying another visit."

"Very disappointing experience. It was a beautiful day so after checking which restaurants had their outside dining open we decided to go here for an anniversary dinner. They had prominently announced that their deck was open on their Facebook page. Followed directions on arrival by going inside and telling the bartender we were sitting on the deck and there were 2 of us. Waited a full 10 minutes then debated whether to go elsewhere but chose to go inside to eat. Since it was a special night we opted for the dining room instead of the bar area. The SiriusXM station was on so loud we could hardly hear each other. There were also a few tables/seats that needed to be wiped down. We found a clean spot and were greeted fairly quickly. Husband ordered a drink from their specialty menu- they couldn’t make that one so he chose something else. Got our drinks within a few minutes. Both were pretty bad, should have stuck to beer : . Ordered our food which came in a reasonable amount of time. That was the only thing that kept this from being a 1 star review. It was very good and the portions were generous. Used to be a favorite place to go, but definitely not any more. We won’t be back."
