THE BEST HIBACHI EVER!!!!!!! The servers are so nice. The cooks are fun and entertaining. 100/10 recommend!

What a hidden gem. Our chef, Richard, is a boss. He was essentially a standup comic acting as a teppanyaki chef. Tasty food, good prices, and not too salty.... Ver carta

The food was delicious and the service was excellent! However, I noticed that the vent from the grill hood was dripping some kind of liquid onto the plates at the corner table, which was quite unappetizing.

This restaurant is fantastic! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The food is the cherry on top, making for a truly enjoyable experience. If you're considering visiting, just go for it! It's amazing. My boyfriend and I usually order the special Mikado roll and the calamari, and both are outstanding.

One of the worst experiences as far as food, the chicken has a consistency of boiled chicken. The steak tasted like burned soy sauce, it was a terrible tasting steak. The fried rice barely has anything in it, no real egg or peas or carrots in the rice. For 64 dollars for two people to have hibachi the portions are also tiny. We will never go here again and we will never suggest it for anyone. They won the medal today as worst japanese food and experience we have ever had. Ver carta

About ten minutes later, she returned with the to-go drinks and boxes, and announced she would get our checks ready. We waited another 15 minutes for the checks to arrive, then waited again for her to pick them up. After 15 more minutes, we decided to get up ourselves; I went to retrieve my card and sign the receipt, which had just been sitting at the register. For a $148 bill, the service was incredibly disappointing. It felt as though she was rushing us out the door, even though we had a reservation at 7. We might consider giving them another chance, but it’s hard to say.

We really enjoy dining at Mikata. Our young son is always entertained by the enthusiastic chefs, and I truly believe that the sushi here is among the best in the area. The chef who prepares it is an experienced Japanese master, passionate about his craft, and trained to deliver high-quality dishes. Along with your entrée, you'll also receive a hearty soup, a fresh salad, grilled vegetables, and an ice dessert if you'd like. The large open hibachi tables create a friendly atmosphere where you can easily strike up a pleasant conversation with the lovely diners sitting next to you. I went here for my birthday last nigh! You can't go wrong with this place! Chef Brian was so nice and seasoned the food really well. He took time to cook everyone's food and did it with a smile on his face. He made sure everyone had what they needed and he made sure everyone felt welcomed. The only thing I did not like was the fact that the waitress only came to our table for refills once and even then forgot stuff. She was not consistent with us like normal restaurant waitresses do. It also sucks that they don't seat you until everyone get's there. They also messed up my party number.
