Mima's Cuban Cafe - Carta

Really enjoyed my Cuban sandwhich. This restaurant has a really fun vibe and the service was great. Very attentive. Will go back.

The waitress was so busy with grub hub orders she ignored the people sitting at the tables. No rice available! No specials on a Saturday night. Very disappointed by that. The food was delicious. Hoping they hire more help on weekends!

Chicken empanadas and Cuban sandwiches was great. Service feels a bit clumsy, place was packed during our visit, so not a big issue. Sandwich was huge, with good amount of meat and cheese, delicious. Menu options not huge, but looks like everything in a list is a decent choice. Thanks for a great dinner! Ver carta

Perhaps I visited on a bad day, but the rice appeared to be undercooked and a bit tough. I can't even remember what else I had, which shows how unmemorable the meal was, aside from the rice. I was deceived by the high ratings for this restaurant, so I wanted to share my own experience. Hopefully, if you decide to try this place, your experience will be better.

I never ever write reviews good or bad. We walked in no one greeted us, we sat ourselves we waited another 10 to 15 minutes for our waitress, and from that point we did not receive or appetizers for the better part of an hour. There were only two other tables yet Most of all the other tables were covered with dirty dishes and glasses. I will say this the food was delicious. But I am not the type of person that wait an hour for appetizers with sub par service

This place unfortunately has gone downhill fast! We used to order from Mima's often, as they had a delicious vegetarian Cuban sandwich. In the past few months, their food has decreased in quality significantly. The bread has been stale, the ingredients used are now sub-par (no more tofu on vegetarian Cuban, base of the sandwich is different) and they regularly forget items we ordered. I am accustomed to having a wide variety of Cuban food options where I live, so when I visited this restaurant with a coworker, I was excited. The restaurant was charming and the appetizers under the hot lamp looked fresh. I decided to try the ropa vieja bowl, but unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst ropa vieja I have ever had. I was disappointed, especially after paying $15.99 for the dish. I hope the restaurant improves their quality and makes it better in the future.

Wow, this has been another gem that has been on my eats list and I finally stopped in! When people talk about authentic Cuban food, this is the spot! Of course I had to try their Classic Cuban sandwich! It was THE BEST Cuban I have ever had. The roasted pork was tender, juicy and filled with flavor. They have so many options so I can't wait to come back and try them all one stop at a time! They also have unbeatable breakfast and lunch deals. Game Nights on Tuesday and has a relaxed family restaurant vibe. There is a parking lot in the back which is useful since the restaurant is located on the Main Street. Amazing find!

Nice ambiance but the service is extremely poor. The waitress at the counter was very inattentive. When we arrived, it seemed like we were inconveniencing them. They only gave us one sticky menu for a party of 3, which was full of crossed out menu items. It was a Friday night but they didn't have any dishes with beef available? At that point, they should have just closed for the night. The only options were vegan beef empanadas and vegan beef papa rellena. The Cuban sandwich was decent, but the service was lacking. We were never asked how the food was or if we needed anything, only if we were finished with our plates. Overall, it was a major disappointment and we will not be returning. Ver carta
