Really good. Excellent menu and food and a delicious lemon drop Martini. They also had NA beer great. We had the fried chicken and pulled pork. No fat in pork and the chicken fried with severity was delicious. Smoked corn, sweet potatoes and pint beans were delicious sides. Plenty of food and great service!

I absolutely loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff was great, and the food was phenomenal—definitely worth every penny. We ordered the whole hog and the smokehouse chicken, and I highly recommend both. I recently moved from Tennessee and am exploring my favorite dining spots, and this place is definitely on the list!

I've been living in Jacksonville for less than a month and stumbled upon this spot by chance, but I'm so glad I did! If you enjoy blues music, a wide selection of whiskey, and a friendly, welcoming staff, you'll definitely love this place. The food was excellent! I highly recommend the shrimp and grits, as well as the spicy shrimp cup. The Brunswick stew was absolutely delicious, and I really enjoyed the cocktails—especially the sangria, which was fantastic! The service was great overall. The bar was a little slow, but considering it was the 4th of July, I expected it to be slower than usual. I would definitely come back!

Excellent BBQ! I had it for the first time at a party, but unfortunately, it wasn't at its best since it had been sitting out for a few hours. However, after trying it fresh and made with high-quality ingredients, I was absolutely amazed at how delicious it was. The various types of meat were so juicy, tender, and flavorful that sauce wasn't even necessary, though I definitely recommend trying it! I will be returning soon with my family!

Great customer service, great food, great experience! Mojo BBQ to the rescue after two other restaurants ran out of ribs on Super Bowl Sunday. Easy to go ordering, ready when we got there, and, food was delicious and well prepared. My favorite part they packaged the ribs in an aluminum tray and cut up the two racks of ribs for us. Easy to keep warm and serve. Just a really good experience after a bumpy start to my day's festivities. We will definitely be back. Ver carta

Order Togo today. The Chicken Wings and Boom Boom Shrimps. The host said it’s about 10 minutes. Then I waited 30 mins until a girl came out to ask. Then the manager I think said that they will prepare my order for 2 minutes(???? but I waited for more than 15 minutes. I think the host did not put my order through. But I believe the right etiquette should be telling customers the TRUTH INSTEAD OF LETTING THEM WAITING FOR NOTHING. Not mention the Wings did not have Celery as described on the Menu. And it looked like overcooked

The atmosphere is quite pleasant as soon as you step inside, featuring plenty of space with a mix of booths and tables. There’s a stage to the left, but there was no live performance on the Sunday evening we visited—it was a special celebration for a friend's 60th birthday. He is a local, and we always choose this restaurant when we're in town. Our server, Joe, was fantastic—very friendly and accommodating, even though we lingered well past closing time. The barbecue options and sauces are diverse, and the side dishes are authentic Southern classics. Visited around 5pm on a weeknight and we had no wait. Our server (named Jacob or Jason advised it was happy hour so we enjoyed reduced price cocktails and an appetizer of fried pickles. The service was great, the ambiance and decor was unique and the drinks were amazing. The meats were also pretty tasty and very tender. But the sides need quite a bit of improvement in my opinion. My companion had the 2 meat platter with mashed potatoes and green beans and I had the brisket with collards and mac and cheese. The green beans were the only side that was decent.
