"Great location if you’re looking for a meal on the Mag Mile. We were there at noon on a busy pre holiday Thursday and there was hardly anyone in there. Were told the burrata is homemade so ordered some as an appetizer. Was OK. I use Spaccia Napoli as my gold standard and this didn’t measure up. It was pleasing but I found it a little bland. Got the margherita pizza. It was subpar. Cheese was OK but sauce was bland and the crust was ordinary. Server was attentive and friendly. I hope they have success as their location should draw a lot of tourists and shoppers, but we probably won’t go back too many other options."

We loved the coffee in the morning and then salad for lunch and then went back the next day for dinner and pizza

Pizza was very good. A little too thin for me. Mozzarella terrific. Very disappointed they only served wine no mixed drinks.

The food and service were great but the noise level will most likely keep me from going back or even recommending. It was so loud that my table couldn't hear each other.

Short staffed compromised service and wait times. Was looking forward to the burrata but the outer mozzarella was thicker than I’ve had and the inside was more watery than I would have liked. Ver carta

We were very disappointed. Other times they were perfect but not this time. One half of our order came fast but No one seemed interested in checking our table to find out why we did not have our meal. We had to ask a staff member to check on our order. When it arrived, 15 min. later, it was not hot but just warm. We hope that this is not going to happen again.

do not let the names of this place confuse them. we were not sure what to expect. they serve great neapel style thin crust pizza, calzones and salads with table service and make mozzarella in front of location. on Friday evening our group of ten has developed well. directly opposite the water tower. really fast service through the wood burning stove that cooked the pizzas in a super high tempo. beer and wine service.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
