Mr. Kozak's Gyros II

Combining the cheese fries with a side of gyro meat is a fantastic idea. It's nice to have a unique option in Holland instead of the usual Mexican restaurants.

The portions are generous, the food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the service is quick. I couldn't ask for more from such a charming little spot!

Although famous for their delicious Gyros and authentic tzatziki sauce I can't say enough about their Chicago dogs as well I don't feel like you can buy a bad item in this Ver carta

The gyros are fantastic, but the fries weren't fully cooked during my last visits. The Italian beef and gyro are always exceptional, and they also serve great Chicago dogs.

Definitely the best kept secret in town. Great hot dogs and salted fries. The onion rings are the real deal. And my Italian beef is calling me from the bag. Grilled cheese on pita bread so simple but so good!

Rude employees and owner. Just close the place down or sell it already. You obviously don't want to be there or care about the place at all anymore. Paid $12 for two soggy hotdogs and got attitude when I asked for ketchup packets. Ver carta

This is not Chicago Style food the taste is not there. My Italian beef bread tasted like a freezer “Freezer Burn” the beef had no flavor!! When you ask for well done gyro meat they never pay attention I gave them 3 tries hands down the worst food.

The gyros meat was thinly sliced and very dry. I received a plate of lettuce that was browning, which wasn't appealing. The fries were decent but overly salted. The Chicago hot dog was also disappointing. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place; it's not what it used to be back in the early 2000s. It's best to steer clear.

Lunchtime visits can pose a challenge, with lines sometimes moving slow and parking congestion spilling onto 8th Street. But what keeps drawing crowds despite these hiccups? The answer lies in the mouthwatering gyros and delectable hotdogs. Wrapped in their greasy goodness, the hotdogs, paired with fries, offer a guilty pleasure that's oh-so-worth it. And those gyros? Simply divine, especially when topped with creamy feta. So, while the wait may test your patience, the flavors that await make it all worthwhile. Plus, if you can catch a quieter moment, they may load up your order generously, adding even more value to the experience. At least that is my experience. Ver carta
