"I've been a huge fan of Simpang Asia for decades, but it's quite pricey. So, when I came across this more affordable Indonesian restaurant featuring some of my favorites on the menu, I was excited! However, upon delivery, I was thoroughly disappointed. The Nasi Bungkus was overcooked and lacked flavor. The Gado Gado Salad was an absolute disaster—it's hard to even describe how bad it was. The Es Cendol had far too much sugar, and the Chicken Satay was overcooked and drowned in an unappetizing sauce. Having lived in Southeast Asia, I can confidently say that Simpang Asia does it right, while this place is nowhere near the mark."

The Short Rib Satay was surprisingly amazing, and the Perkedel made for the perfect appetizer.

Great food, never fails. The Mie Goreng Combo or Nasi Goreng Combo is my go-to order. Their thai tea is also amazing.

I've ordered from Mr. Sate more times than I can count. The Bubur Ayam is always comforting and perfect for when I'm trying to recover from being unwell. I will say that some days the quality and flavor vary, but today it was a perfect 10/10! They pack the bubur ayam and soups in a layered container, allowing me to add condiments as I wish while keeping everything fresh, which I really appreciate. The Soto Betawi was also delicious, just like always. I tried Tempe Mendoan for the first time, and it was fantastic with the dipping sauce. Ver carta
