The staff and owner created a fantastic atmosphere filled with positive energy. The restaurant was clean, and the music was just right to enhance the experience. I would give it 5 stars!

Really good southern style food. The boneless wings are nice and crunchy and the bbq sauce is very good. The collard greens were meaty and so savory and good. Definitely a pleasant surprise of a place and I would go back for more.

I had heard about this place through social media, and finally stumbled upon it.. and was glad I did. The owner explained to me thoroughly their menu, was very courteous and polite but most importantly, their food is delicious. I would definitely be going back again.Maddie Ver carta

Amazing food! I decided to stop by here after watching a review by Daym Drops on YouTube. The catfish was absolutely perfect! The side dishes—potato salad, collard greens, and mac and cheese—were all delicious! I will definitely be coming back! There's a fantastic variety of food at great prices!

Not a good look nor is it good business to leave customers on hold for 5+ minutes when they call to place a carry out order. Only waited that long because (I didn 't cook and] I 've had their food 1 time before and wanted to try the soul food egg rolls and try the pork chops again. (not a good look) :

I ordered takeout for the first time the other night. The half rack of ribs I got was fantastic and quite large. The sides, depending on your choice (which are somewhat limited), were just average. My husband's fried fish (I can't recall the type) was excellent, but it was small for the price, and his sides were also small. Overall, we would definitely consider eating there again. Ver carta

Was excited to try this place because the name is awesome. Unfortunately the food was lackluster, we called for curbside pickup and no one answered. The cornbread was not good. The chicken which I read good reviews about was much of the anticipation. I got the tenders and wings. Chicken was slightly over cooked and seasoning was just ok. Not bad, but not great. Pork chop was pretty good though. One of the best names to a restaurant though.

I dropped by tonight after quite some time. My husband ordered the catfish with yellow rice and corn, while I opted for the 8-piece wings tossed in lemon pepper, along with collard greens and mac and cheese. Both dishes were delicious, although I might request no salt on the wings next time, as they were a bit too salty for my taste. Overall, the service, atmosphere, and food were fantastic. I truly appreciate the genuine quality they provide. Keep up the great work!

I ordered the boneless chicken combo, which came with collard greens, mac and cheese, and yams. The chicken and collard greens were perfectly seasoned. However, the cornbread wasn't as sweet as I expected, and the yams were a bit too sweet for my taste. Despite that, I feel it was money well spent. I remember my last visit to this location in 2020 wasn’t great, but I can see they’ve improved most of their dishes since then. The seasoning and fried items were particularly good.
