"My teenage son and I were fortunate to find Austin's by chance a year ago in November 2022. We are from the Detroit suburbs, so when we planned our next trip to Mentor for this November, we made a reservation right away. We were just barely rolled into the parking lot before closing time on a Friday night, but we made it and it was everything we hoped it would be. The most friendly and efficient service. Great food. The ribeye cooked just as ordered medium-rare. The orange roughy with crabmeat stuffing was excellent. The chocolate cake amazing. It will probably be another year before we return, but will be the first place we go when we roll into town."

"Fantastic dining experience! I've visited this place twice for brunch and have been impressed each time. They serve the best sausage gravy I've ever tasted. The portion sizes are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the quality is top-notch. They offer standard breakfast fare as well as some elevated options like short ribs, Slovenian sausage, and salmon. The restaurant maintains a clean and welcoming atmosphere, with a nicely sized bar. They feature live music, which isn't necessarily to my taste, but the volume is just right, allowing for easy conversation. Service can be a bit leisurely at times, but given how busy and often understaffed many places are these days, it's understandable. Overall, it’s a fantastic local gem!"

"Mediterranean Food is the Delicious Equalizer! If there are vegans and carnivores in your group, you cannot go wrong with a Mediterranean Restaurant. Delicious options. Quick and friendly service of delicious food from start to finish. We began with ice waters and one from our party ordered a freshly squeezed juice, the Honeymooner. Ingredients were carrot, grape, and cucumber. Fresh is an understatement! This was delicious and refreshing after a humid day. Appetizers began with hummus, the entry level appetizer that sets the dining experience. What a delicious treat! The right ratio of chickpeas and tahini topped with olive oil and spices. A fresh slice of tomato and cucumber. Wonderful to dip pita in this. Next was an order of Sfiha. This was a scrumptious dish of sautéed lean ground beef, lightly fried pine nuts, onions, tomatoes, and herbs folded into a pita pie and topped with cheddar and scallions. We had to pace ourselves to save room for our main courses. First main plate was the Chicken Curry Pitza. This was a crispy flat pita with honey dijon topped with curried chicken, peas, sliced onions, banana peppers, and fried onions. If you like savory, spice and a tiny hint of heat, this is a great option. Next was the Flavor Savor Special. Proper name! Highlight were the chicken mishwi and beef kafta that sat on a bed of rice with vermicelli and served with fresh greens, more yummy hummus, and falafel. This hits the flavor wheel. Moist, savory, wonderful balance of protein and carbs. Small shop that offers to-go traditional desserts single to a family pack. No room for dessert and to go boxes were needed."

"Great little spot for a quick bite to eat, huge menu that you find yourself asking how in the world but just trust your instincts and order what sounds the best. You won't go wrong. The Dawgs are substantially bigger than your typical home' style, and quite a bit more flavorful, so double-think twice about ordering two! Best to just save your second choice for next time, and get a side instead. Friendly staff, nice decorating, music that was background and not blaring, huge bathroom that was immaculately clean and stocked. Hard to see from the road, but it's worth turning around for!"

"I’m giving this restaurant 3 stars, primarily for the friendly and attentive waitress. We ordered four meals, including two children’s meals, but unfortunately, they were nothing special. It took 30 minutes for the food to arrive, and when it did, everything was cold. We were quite hungry after all that waiting, so we went ahead and ate. My wife received a quarter of a dry, bland chicken salad sandwich and a tiny cup of soup for over $10. The fries were decent—not as crispy as they could be, but still tasty. Overall, the rest of the meals were just average. I find it puzzling why the prices are so high for such simple dishes."
