"When our waitress finally came to take our order, we went with the BLT sandwiches and decided to try the clam strips as an appetizer since we love clams. One thing I like about this place is the generous sandwich portions and the large side of fries for only $6 — a fantastic deal! Unfortunately, we didn’t see our waitress again until our clam strips arrived. Although they were just $7, overcooked clam strips can really ruin the dish. Sadly, they were overcooked, flavorless, and so tough that a fork couldn’t cut through them. We only saw the waitress one more time as she hurried past. What happened to good, old-fashioned customer service? After finishing our meal, we waited a good 10 minutes before she finally noticed we were done; apparently, cleaning tables was more important than checking on customers. The restaurant was less than half full, so the lack of attention was surprising. When she finally came over, I mentioned the clam strips. She dismissed my complaint, saying they aren’t hard and are always served that way, tossing pieces back onto the plate carelessly. My sister and I shared a look of disbelief as she walked away. Another staff member in pool shorts and a t-shirt was fiddling with the TV nearby. I asked if the manager was around, and he said yes. When I asked to see the manager, he replied, “What do you need?” I asked if he was the manager, and he said, “Sort of.” Seriously, you either are or you aren’t. I told him about the clam strips issue. He only half-listened while adjusting the TV but acknowledged the piece I showed him and said he’d have it taken off our bill. The sandwich was great, but the poor service was disappointing, and that matters a lot to me. My sister and I work hard for our money and understand that food isn’t always perfect, but good service and customer care should always come first. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll be coming back as often."

This local sports bar offers fantastic food that is just right. There aren't too many loud TVs or distracting decorations, allowing you to enjoy your meal in a great atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable too. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot!

Our food was delicious! We had lunch and the burgers were absolutely delicious! We also had fish fingers, onion rings, and loaded cheese fries which were all lightly breaded and tasted crisp and fresh. Our waitress Kim was great! Highly recommended!

This place has the vibe of a classic dive sports bar, but the food and service are surprisingly good. The atmosphere is laid-back and very casual. They welcomed our little dog without any problems, which was a nice touch. Overall, a great spot if you're looking for a relaxed dining experience.

The food at Oaks Grill is outstanding! The staff is friendly and efficient, and the prices are excellent. Their steaks and seafood are exceptional, and they also serve Italian and Mexican cuisine. The jerk-spiced wings are fantastic, and I find myself returning again and again, looking forward to my next meal! Ver carta

Came with a party of 7 on a Saturday night and everything was beyond perfect. No trouble parking, our server was pleasant and attentive, and Keith even checked on our table 3-4 times. Our drinks never went empty, everyone in my party loved their food,and they have the only burger my 3 year old will eat that ISN?T McDonalds. We will definitely be back!

I really think this place makes decent food, went there with 2 adults and 3 kids?.we had 2 happy hour wines, 3 beers, 2 kids drinks, 2 side salads, 15 wings, and one 13 dollar entree, oh and one piece of pie!!! Thank god we had a coupon! 93 dollars????. Restaurants wonder why people stay home more now, unbelievable!!! I almost fell out of my chair, we too are paying an increasein groceries! Nothing makes you want to hop back at that stove more than price gouging like that????

Great local spot with an awesome charm. Transom of a big fishing boat is the bar. Staff is friendly and attentive. I have been there enough times to have tried most of the menu. We have had 2 problems with items but they were handled very well with nogrief from the server. Prices are fair and the quality is higher than you would expect. Beer selection is good, mixed drinks aremade to the bartenders reference guide (not a dig, you are going to get what you order). A good spot to stop for sure. Ver carta

November 04, 2009 – I had the ayce crab legs tonight. They were very good but they cut me off at 5 pounds. When I sat down I told the waitress to keep em coming I eat between 15 and 20 pounds of crab.Ok they came and at 5 lbs they said that was it. I was shocked. I asked for the manager. With no signs and the internet saying ayce I was ready to eat at least 15 lbs. You realize 15 lbs is only about 4 lbs of meat. manager said sorry it was 5 lbs and the owner says we have to stop but he gave me a couple extra read more » to make me happy. As a middle-aged man weighing 220 pounds, I was very satisfied with the generous portions at Oaks Grill, even without ordering appetizers or beer. Speaking of beer, Oaks Grill boasts one of the best selections of craft beer on draft that I've seen in Brandon. If you visit during happy hour, you can enjoy some fantastic deals on quality brews. My wife and I have been searching for a local place to enjoy great food in a comfortable setting (though we’re still getting used to all the Pittsburgh Steelers memorabilia since we’re Bills fans), and we’re happy to say we found that at Oaks Grill.
