"My go-to neighborhood grill (that’s not actually in my neighborhood for many years now. Been open nearly a century. Just good homestyle food at affordable prices. Clean. Friendly. Consistent. Everything you want a little coffee shop to be. Definitely worth going a little out of the way for, and taking an extra minute; as that’s what they also do when they prepare your food, and it shows. This is what Denny’s had tried unsuccessfully to capture; the quintessential small town coffee joint. Thank goodness we still have one. Do yourself a favor. Go try it if you haven’t (and order the biscuits gravy or crunchy French Toast ."

Food and service were okay. Felt awkward when we entered the restaurant as every person, I mean every person including the cook stopped and looked at us!!!

The food was as always amazing!! Never had bad service until Saturday. Short haired girl, we felt very horny, never asked if we wanted refills, water, etc. Just put our recipe on the table and said have a good day. I was shocked, never had a bad service.. Food, amazing!! Not greasy like most diners!
