"I dined here on a Sunday afternoon when the restaurant wasn't very crowded. I ordered a soda, which came in a can with a cup of ice, meaning refills aren't complimentary. For my appetizer, I chose the fried pork potstickers, and they were absolutely delightful! They came with a delicious dipping sauce, which I really enjoyed. For my main course, I had Beef Chow Fun. The beef was tender, and the portion was quite satisfying. I added some of the dipping sauce from my appetizer to my entree, and it gave it an extra kick! Don't forget to leave some space for dessert! I had a scoop of vanilla ice cream topped with Oreos, fruity pebbles, chocolate, and caramel drizzle. The bubble waffle was warmly crispy, too. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I look forward to trying more items from the menu!"

I absolutely love the food here! I typically order one of the ramen dishes or a soup. My wife is a big fan of the bulgogi, and we both really enjoy the spicy edamame. The kids can’t get enough of the waffle cone desserts. Overall, I’d rate the food a solid 5 out of 5!

Ordered the sweet and sour whole fish and roasted duck. Both dishes are fantastic! Not a fan of their fried rice. I suggest ordering white rice. Service is good. Some people say, they are a bit pricey. They use high quality ingredients. Quality is generally more expensive. So I think, the prices are reasonable.Food: 5/5

Loved the food here! The owners are from HK and it definitely shows in their Asian fusion food. Surprisingly their boba was also really good! We got the char siu and double pan fried noodles and it tasted authentic and seasoned well! I always get the fluffy fried buns as an appetizer and it hit the spot ‍ it’s usually busy and they have an outdoor area now which is really nice for good weather! 10/10

I was truly impressed by the food at this restaurant. I expected it to be like other places that rely on modern decor to make up for mediocre cuisine, but that wasn't the case at all—the food was genuinely excellent! It’s often easy to make Asian dishes overly salty, but here they nailed the balance perfectly. I would definitely recommend it. I also tried the taro latte; while it didn't have a strong taro flavor, it was still enjoyable. Ver carta

Open Rice is amazing!! It was our first time there and definitely won’t be our last!! Our waiter was nice and friendly. I had the edamame to start with and the seasoning on it is perfect. Legit one of the best I’ve ever had. I also had the miso butter corn ramen. It was also amazing!! The chicken was tender and the soup had a wonderfully delicious flavor. I finished my meal off with a bubble waffle. So so good!! I would highly highly recommend!!!

This restaurant far surpassed my expectations. Although it is on the pricier side and the portions are admittedly small, the exceptional quality of the food is undeniable. We visited on a Saturday night, and to our surprise, our dishes arrived faster than we had anticipated! We were truly impressed with the overall service. While some items are smaller in size, it balances out because many other dishes are designed to be shared among guests. Ultimately, it all levels out. This is a fantastic spot for special occasions.

My experience was absolutely amazing! The service is exceptional, kind, and feels connected. Although the price is steep, the quality makes it worth it. Personally, I would say the portions are very reasonable with lots of excellent dishes to choose from. I ordered the the bulgogi, the Vietnamese spring rolls, and laksa which were all delicious. The bubble waffle with ice cream and toppings is so good and a definite must-try. Open Rice is definitely a go-to place for great asian cuisine and I will definitely be a returning customer. Food is authenticitly Cantonese and cooked to perfection the food was tender and elegantly seasoned. My family has been frequenting this place often and recently brought me, and I will now be making this a must go site. I 'm from the north and we typically pride ourselves with having genuine Chinese dishes, but this restaurant rivals many of my favorite places. This restaurant had modern service and atmosphere, but the food had old school charm. This is a must visit!! Also, I don 't have many pictures because I was too busy eating, but the beef chow fun, fried rice, veggies, and eggplant were my favorites!

This is probably going to be one of my new favorite spots. The food was so good. The home made spring rolls were so freaking amazing, I wished we ordered more. Cast Iron Seafood Fried Rice, yes, please... definitely enough to share for two. Table next to us got the Pineapple Fried rice... served in half of a pineapple... looked incredible. And the manager was super helpful in telling us what to order and just friendly. While I 'm not freaking out these days about 'social distancing ' I think many will appreciate that they do a good job spreading people out and not just throwing up awkward plastic walls to try and 'protect ' you.

"My friends and I were enjoying a beautiful night in South End and one of them had found this place online. So we stopped by for a drink. Wow! Gorgeous place! The interior design gave me the warm, welcoming feeling of being at The Grand Bohemian Lodge in Greenville SC- upscale, but unpretentious, inviting, and fun. We were immediately welcomed by the bartenders who talked to us about their different beers and kombuchas. We ordered a couple of flights to sample as many as we could and sat down to play Jenga in one of their many seating areas. Our spot was 2 old leather couches flanking a gorgeous wooden coffee table. So relaxing and sociable. I’ve never been in a brew pub with so much greenery (ferns and other foliage adorn and drape from the rafters filling corners and crannies around the room), natural wood, and light! Another great feature was a floor-to-ceiling wall cabinet filled with really cool things. The beers were unique and fun to try. The vibe is worth the visit even if you don’t love beer. I enjoyed a glass of prosecco and loved learning about and sampling the other beverages. They also have a great outdoor space for gathering where dogs are welcome. My sense is this place was designed for building community, which is something we all need more of. Turn off your cellphones and come here to meet people, pet dogs, and enjoy a great experience!"
