I ordered the jerk chicken and waffles. The jerk chicken did not have a hint of jerk sauce/seasoning. I asked for the jerk sauce and they gave me oil. I feel like it was just fried chicken. I ordered jerk chicken and Waffles. Chicken had no flavor what's so ever I think they just boiled it and then grilled it I had authentic Jamaican food this ain't it. the atmosphere wasn't doing it either reminds me of sanford &son. Only open 2 days I recommend they close all 7 might work out better. The food was outstanding, earning a perfect score. The service was equally impressive, with attentive staff who ensured our needs were met. We decided to return today to see if things had improved, but unfortunately, they had not. We ordered our standard Haitian fried rice with scrambled eggs, sausage, and chicken and beef, which again cost $21 each, totaling $48. When we got to the car and checked our plates, I was appalled to find that we didn’t receive even half of the food we paid for! To make matters worse, the server tried to disguise this by covering the plates with aluminum foil upside down. I can't believe this happened! Now I’m the first person to take a picture of my food when I’m eating but for the life of me, I can’t seem to find any pictures of the food I consumed at Ore A Love Story. That tells me one thing, the food was just too good. I’ve been living in Stoughton for about 5 years now and my biggest complaint was that there was no good food here. I am happy to say that I am mistaken. The food was delicious, the service impeccable and the ambience/vibe just right. My only complaint is that it is only open on the weekends.
