"Came here for a nice dinner when visiting Boston and I did not disappoint. We were looking for an Asian place and this definitely hit the spot. Inside it feels like a nice relaxed diner and the service was very friendly as we were a were in the mood for and what types of items on the menu might complement what we're feeling. I ended up on a roasted duck rice plate, which also came with vegetables. I had a flight the next morning so I wasn't sure about getting too involved with spice so I got mild, but my friend got a spicy chicken dish and that had a really nice touch of heat. For dessert we got a mango sticky rice, which was amazing. I'm also a little biased because mango sticky rice is one of my favourite desserts.Overall, if you're looking for a quick, nice Thai or Vietnamese meal at an affordable price I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant."

Dac Biet was excellent, although I wish the bowl were a bit larger. The Mother's Day mango dessert was beautifully presented in the shape of a heart and tasted delicious. As for parking, I managed to find a spot in the restaurant's lot without any issues.

This place is so adorable, the outside is so nicely decorated in the inside is very cozy. Friendly staff, amazing food! Service was great. My Tai Pho was up there with some of the best pho I've had. The chive dumplings were amazing. Would definitely recommend! Ver carta

Another nice feature is that if you pay in cash and spend over $50, you get $5 back, which is a nice bonus that some might overlook. Besides that, the restaurant is small and has a beautifully colorful exterior. I also enjoyed the surroundings. The only downside is that parking can be a bit limited.

I'm really looking forward to returning here and trying more of their menu. The Pho sac biet was one of the best I've had in Boston (not to mention the cheapest), and the pad Thai with chicken was so delicious. I got this food to go but the vibes in the store are so cool and the waitress was so nice I'd love to eat in next time.

We had an excellent experience dining here, thanks to the delicious food and outstanding service from Jane. She was incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring our orders arrived quickly, hot, and fresh. It was the perfect place for a simple meal on a rainy Sunday evening. We tried the drunken noodles, mango fried rice, a chicken sauté dish, samosas, and Tom Kha Gai soup. Everything was packed with flavor and exceeded our expectations. Thank you for a wonderful meal! Ver carta

Nice tiny place. Wasn’t busy when I went. The people seemed nice, couldn’t understand what they were saying. But was very chill. The waitress lady was nice and very patient. The fried dumplings appetizer was very good! Never had them before, so it was a first good experience! And idk what the sauce was with the dumplings, but it tasted amazing with them! For the meal I stuck with the Duck soup. Was very filling, delicious! Overall good little experience. The other to thing I liked is if you bring cash, you might be able to save a few bucks. Like if you spend over $50 you get $5 back. Which I guess some people wouldn’t take the money. But I’d say it’s a great deal I other than that, it’s a sm...

After getting takeout a few times from here, we finally ate in as a family. I started off a bit skeptical at first because the restaurant has Thai and Vietnamese dishes. Usually that's a red flag for not being good at either. But turns out, they nailed both. The tom yum soup is our go-to. They have two sizes. The other Thai dishes are also tasty. The pad Thai, chicken satay, and mango sticky rice are all quite good. And their soft shell crab dish is also garlicky good. On the Vietnamese side of the house, all of their pho dishes are yummy and rich. Finally, this was the first time we dined in, and the service was as good as the food. Our server offered our family a stand for the iPhone my so...

"I haven't been here in several years and this place has changed the menu since then. They used to serve crepes, but it seems like that is no longer on the menu. I miss the crepes they used to serve, but this place still seems like an excellent local coffee shop with sandwiches.Service: I was greeted promptly as soon as I walked in even though the worker was busy making a drink. They take your name when you order at the counter in the middle of the cafe, and they call out your name when your individual items are ready to pick up from the counter. They do not serve dine-in orders within 30 minutes of closing. There are tables on either end of the cafe, but not much, so don't expect a seat during peak times.Coffee: Served as is, the hot latte was foamy and velvety without any bitterness. Even though my order was to go, I was surprised to still see latte art when I took the lid off.Food: I ordered the Otom sandwich, which includes egg, bacon, cheddar, lettuce, tomato spicy aioli, on your choice of bread. I chose to have on an everything bagel, which had a perfectly substantial amount of chewiness. The egg was overcooked and dry, but the rest of the ingredients, like the tomato and the aioli, covered up the dryness. The spicy aioli is mild but does add a nice small kick to the flavors. It is a fairly greasy and messy sandwich thanks to the bacon and aioli, so be sure to have a couple of napkins on hand. Overall, it was delicious."

"Great casual fine dining experience in a quiet Cambridge neighborhood.Took a visit here for dinner on a Saturday night. Its casual and rustic interior blended in perfectly with the atmosphere of the neighborhood, and our servers were very welcoming. We were initially planning to do the tasting menu, but the regular a la carte menu seemed too good to miss. We ended up ordering a bunch from their regular menu which turned out to be the right decision. The optional focaccia and rye bread with sweet scallion butter was an excellent start to the meal. From the appetizers, we had the kohlrabi cabbage, country terrine, and the scallop crudo. Topped with a mélange of earthy and floral ingredients, the scallop crudo was my favorite from the appetizers. Each bite was creamy and flavorful yet inexplicably light. Sprinkled with cranberries and spiced seeds, the kohlrabi and cabbage salad was also delightful. I especially loved the spiced seed toppings which added the right amount of nuttiness and crunchy texture.Saffron bigoli with leeks and clam sofrito had a slightly boring flavor profile, but the pappardelle verde with lamb sugo was phenomenal. I’m usually not a fan of mint toppings, but it managed to become a perfect complement to the lamb sugo. Subsequent 3 entrées were also amazing. Japanese-inspired soy marinated cod was perfectly tenderized, and its delicate texture paired well with the carrots and leeks soaked in dashi. Forking a concoction of chimichurri sauce, garlic purée, and grilled spring onion with tender pieces of beef teres major was also very satisfying. We finished off the meal with the carrot cake sundae and the lemon poppyseed cake. The dessert section lacked refined taste, but we still appreciated their effort to put something unique and interesting. Overall, a really enjoyable dinner experience at a reasonable price. Would definitely come back some day to try their tasting menu.Parking: Street parking available on Huron Ave Concord Ave"

"If you 're near Belmont, I recommend swinging by this little Armenian market to check out the treasures inside. I was looking up parking for Praline just a few streets down and saw ELB on the map and was immediately intrigued, having never heard of a lamejun before. I wish I had some more time to peruse the aisles but we walked away with some goodies: a bag of dried green lentils, some grape leaves, a meat lamejun, and two boxes of baklava. The baklava were a hit at the party we brought them to, though, of the two kinds we purchased, I preferred the smaller, rolled up, bite sized version (I looked it up the finger baklava. Very apt! . The second were these massive squares, sliced diagonally in half maybe the ozel kara baklava? They had a generous spread of crushed pistachios, my favorite nut; my only complaint was they were a tad hard to eat and divide into smaller portions. Now that I think about it some more, the better way to eat these would be to pop them in the oven so the honey melts just a little.I thought the grape leaves were all right, maybe too much on the sour and garlicky side for me. My husband loved them. Lamejun looks like a cross between a pizza and a savory pancake, topped with a layer of ground meat, tomatoes, herbs. They have three kinds here the traditional meat, a chicken (lower in sodium and cholesterol, as promised on the box , and a vegetarian. We went with the meat. I brought it to a party as the perfect snack. All you need is a few minutes in the broiler or the oven so the edges get perfectly golden brown crispy. For a dozen of these babies, it was about $25. I should 've asked the nice lady at the cashier if these are freezable. On my list for next time: the eggplant dip and beet salad, as well as the other kinds of baklava and turnovers. Near the cashier is also quite the selection of feta. (I don 't understand another review calling the arrangement of the items like a garage sale. Everything was pretty neatly organized and resembled any other small specialty market. Parking: lots of street options in front of the store."
