"Chicken shawarma was awesome. Different regions of world has different recipes of shawarma they all different but key of good shawarma is meat Ed’s Kitchen use good fresh meat, it’s like I cook for my self and how it supposed to be. If anyone says it’s not shawarma don’t listen to that person. I tried different shawarma in Chicago land and that one of the best. Chicken meat was grilled on wood lump which gives you best taste of meat. I will definitely recommend to my friends and I will come back to try other stuff that they have."

"Despite the delicious food (I had the Life Balance salmon [I'm picky about salmon quality it met my high standards] my BFF had chopped salad tortilla soup) and the very attentive service, the noise level made Coopers Hawk a difficult place for a long-delayed get-together. We could barely hear each other, even though we were sitting at adjacent corners of the table. But we appreciated not being pressured to hurry up leave the table. We were also glad we'd brought extra layers, as the temperature was much chillier than the April outdoors, maybe 67°. So we won't be returning when we next get together, until it's warm enough outside to sit on the patio, where it's quieter."

"For appetizers, we ordered the gyro, and it was absolutely delicious—just perfect. For lunch, I had a speckkäseburger along with French fries and onion rings. The meal was decent; certainly not bad, but the flavor of the burger didn't stand out. It tasted much like a typical burger, nothing particularly unique about it. The onion rings and fries, however, were excellent! Unfortunately, the soup wasn't available when we arrived around 9 o'clock. The prices were reasonable, and the service was very good! I appreciated the little details, especially the story printed on the last page of the menu that explains the restaurant's history. Overall, I suspect that breakfast might be much better than lunch, as I noticed many diners ordering large breakfast items that I will definitely have to try on my next visit! I recommend giving this place a chance."

"I always thought highly of this place because of the pics I think. I ordered today thru ubereats. AWFUL FOOD. As soon as i opened the box, it stunk up my room. I was wondering what it was, it was the cantaloupe, ROTTEN. Threw it out right away. The eggs didnt smell that good either, they were probably nearly spoiling when they were cooked. "I had a fantastic meal last weekend at this supper club restaurant that we brought my mom to. It was the first time at Carnivore The Queen. From the outside the restaurant is nothing special as it’s in a small strip mall and there’s not a lot of parking. Don’t let that fool you. Once inside, it’s decorated very nicely with black walls ceilings, beautiful lighting and artwork. There’s a bar in each dining area as well. There’s a small front and side, outdoor patio with umbrella tables, too.Our server was Zane, who was very personable and engaging. He gave us the history of the name of the restaurant, when I inquired and explained the menu. He made the dining experience that much better.My husband and I started out with cocktails. I requested a mezcal paloma and my husband had one of the old fashioneds, the Minocqua which was amazing. Next time I’m getting that cocktail.We started with a relish tray that we shared comprised of beer cheese dip, ham salad, housemade crackers, crudités, olives and cornichons. The relish tray is definitely a throwback to the supper clubs of the past. It’s good for two to share. I I asked for bread, which was served warm with salted butter topped with fried basil and salt. I was surprised there was a charge for the bread. With the high prices at this restaurant, it would be a nice touch for their customers to provide complimentary bread and charge for the second loaf, if requested.My mom and husband had the beef wellington, which was the Saturday night special. It was fantastic. Perfectly flaky crust, and the fillet was cooked as requested, medium rare, I had the seared scallops, which were perfectly grilled and tender and fresh.This restaurant is pricey, but worth it. There is a five-course signature supper for 66, which would include the relish tray, wedge salad. shrimp crab Louie, roasted chicken, and dessert. You can swap out the roasted chicken for another entrée with an upcharge. I think that is the way to go so you can have a little bit of everything from the menu and control the price.I can’t think of one negative about our dining experience except the charge for bread. I’d like to come back for a burger and cocktails at the bar Their way burgers look fabulous! I definitely recommend this restaurant, but be prepared for sticker shock. We don’t mind paying for great service and food, but others may not. FYI"
