"To celebrate our 51st wedding anniversary I chose this restaurant mainly to please my vegetarian wife. Although not vegetarian myself I really enjoyed the dinner. No bland food there. Superb sheperd pie (no meat). Do not hesitate to go even as a meat eater. The service was also excellent and we were offered a dessert when they learned of our anniversary (We took it home since we were satieted)."

"No es mi tipo de lugar. El bar / taberna tenía clientes gritones y ruidosos en un día en que no había nadie alrededor. Realmente un menú de degustación, plato para adolescentes, porciones para adolescentes, mala relación calidad-precio. La camarera me dijo que los pimientos verdes en mi sopa de almejas eran suaves, no lo eran y tenían que escupir con la boca ardiente. Realmente vergonzoso cuando me trataron. En cambio, me dieron espárragos. Tu único vegetal. No se dieron cuenta de que mi vaso de agua estaba vacío y tuve que pedirlo. Bancos sin respaldo para sentarse en la taberna / bar, pero puede solicitar una silla incómoda. No es un lugar donde comes muchas proteínas y verduras saludables como yo. No me gusta salir de un restaurante donde me siento hinchado con demasiada comida, pero tampoco quiero pasar hambre. El café estaba bueno después de la comida."

"We've enjoyed previous visits to this restaurant but our recent visit was somewhat disappointing. While the food was delicious, the dining experience felt cold and inhospitable. The waiter seemed grumpy. And there was no mention whatsoever about the reason for the occasion (I indicated this was for a birthday when I made the online reservation). Not the kind of ambience we had hoped for, or experienced during previous meals there. I'd like to go back, but this event left a sour taste on an otherwise great meal. And one more note: the valet service is a joke. I got to give a guy $8 to watch him park my car for me and have him immediately hand back my keys as he wouldn't be there afterwards. I'm usually an optimistic guy and rarely give bad reviews. But I have to say something this time."

"Todo fue genial, nuestro servidor fue increíble y el anfitrión se acomodó a todas mis solicitudes especiales perfectas. Fue el cumpleaños de mi esposa, así que llegué temprano en el día para dejar las rosas y un pastel de queso especial para sorprenderla. Le recordé al anfitrión que dejara que el servidor supiera que fue una sorpresa, señaló que estaba seguro de que era obvio al traer todo esto en cuando tuviera reservas de PM. Todo fue perfecto ... casi. Mi esposa es muy hermosa y tengo que lidiar con los chicos que la miran constantemente, es solo una esposa hermosa, estoy acostumbrado. Un busser en particular que siguió caminando junto a nuestra mesa seguía mirando, pensé que estaba revisando a mi esposa o obviamente revisando nuestra mesa para un buen servicio, pero parecía que estaba mirando a la dirección de mi esposa. Lo que suceda. Como pedí el cheque, me levanté y le conté secretamente al anfitrión si pueden sacar el postre con la vela, etc. Vuelvo a la mesa para esperar la cara sorpresa de mi esposa, ya que ese mismo Busser se acerca a nosotros y dice el Lo único que nos dijo ... Oye, chicos, tu queso de queso estará justo en un minuto, lo están preparando. Podría simplemente ser despistado o podría ser un movimiento de idiota ... de todos modos, lo que arruinó la sorpresa y dejó un mal gusto. No me detendré de regresar, simplemente no planee más cenas sorpresa."

"Family favorite since I was 15, same location. Was our stop before sometimes but always after going surfing, was in love with the fried zucchini and they uses to come in a brown lunch bag. These days we have the pastrami sandwich or have the big breakfast. And can't forget the shake.. they have definitely evolved over the years. Serving beer and espresso, and can always catch a game on the several TVs they have. Sit outside and people watch and feel the nice warm california sun. It's an Iconic location for over 40+yrs."
