"This place is a gem! Best pancakes hands down. Their banana nut pancakes are full of flavor. Don’t put too much syrup on them. They really don’t need the extra sweetness.Their food items are a good size portion and served in a good size.Service was friendly and quick. Can’t wait for our next trip back to the area.3/11/23. Place was a bit busy, but not real busy and we still had to wait 30+ minutes for our meal. Service from our server was HORRIBLE.Went around the tables and I had to get up to ask someone to get me a coffee refill. She never came back and again I had to get up to ask for a mimosa refill and extra salsa. We asked for pancakes to go. Ten minutes later she comes back to tell us THEY RAN OUT OF BATTER!!! Seriously? No one noticed they were running low? Wow.Food didn’t disappoint, the service did. Will think twice about coming back."

Delicious omelets and crispy hash browns. The service is very friendly, and they have a spacious patio.

Very nice place. Food tasted good and the staff was very attentive. Nice restaurant tucked in the corner of Town Center mall and a great find. ?

You have the option to eat indoor or outdoor. Had caramel peach pancakes and they were delicious! Pancakes were thin but just right. Coffee was good too.

We remembered this from our last trip and made it a point to come back and bring friends. Still excellent food and service. The daily specials are definitely worth considering. Looking forward to coming back again. Ver carta

Hidden gem of a restaurant. I almost hesitate to talk it up because it's such a special place, I want to keep it as my secret! It has a great vibe, great staff, and great menu. Can't wait to go back and sit on the patio when it gets a little bit cooler.

First of all, Daniela was amazing! She noticed we were chatting and reminiscing about the past. When we placed our orders, she was very polite. She returned to let me know that my order was unavailable, allowing me some time to reconsider my choice. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. Throughout our meal, Daniela remained polite, professional, and courteous. Ver carta

First timers for my wife and I. Wanted to try a new place and we weren't disappointed. I had the ham and eggs, bacon and eggs for my wife. Both of us had a pancake instead of toast. The pancakes are as good as advertised. The best I've had outside the east coast. Only one small negative, the coffee price is higher than average. $4 a cup, the good news we didn't have to ask for a refill. We'll be back.

Pretty decent breakfast. Not amazing, but not bad either. My husband said the pancakes and the French toast tasted good. Our 4 year old really liked the French toast. The mostly meat omelette would've been pretty boring if it wasn't for the salsa they brought. The huevos rancheros were decent. Not my favorite, but still tasty. The salsa for the huevos rancheros was good (not amazing, but not bad), and the tortillas were good. The beans tasted like they were fresh from a can though. Good service and there was no wait (and almost no one else in the restaurant at the time we went 1140am on a Tuesday). Overall a good breakfast. Not amazing, but not bad either.

"**ORDERED ITEM:** Modern Hippie Veggie (with added seitan) **TASTE:** First of all, if you take a quick look at some Yelp photos, you'll see how visually appealing this sandwich is, and mine looked exactly like that. But it’s not just about looks; it tastes amazing and has a wonderful texture as well. The sandwich features crack cheese, avocado, gomasio (a sesame and sea salt blend), tomato, jicama, shredded carrot, cucumber, purple pickled cabbage, fresh lettuce, and mayo on country levain bread. I opted to add seitan for extra protein. There’s a ton of ingredients packed into this sandwich, but everything comes together beautifully, resulting in a truly fantastic meal. The vegetables were all incredibly fresh and crisp, making the sandwich feel refreshing. In terms of flavor, the crack cheese has a tangy note similar to hummus. The sweetness from the carrots, the light pickling of the cabbage, the heartiness of the seitan, and the nuttiness from the gomasio blend harmoniously to create a delicious bite. I could easily eat this sandwich several times a week without any guilt. The levain bread has a nice sourdough vibe, just so you know. It’s also generously sized, making it shareable for two if you’re not too hungry. **SERVICE:** The cashier who took my order was friendly and had a positive attitude, which always makes the food taste better. You simply place your order at the register, and they bring the food to your table. I arrived about 30 minutes after they opened (11 AM) on Saturday of Labor Day weekend, and I was able to walk right in, order, and sit down without waiting. However, it did get busy shortly after, and by the time I finished my meal, there was someone waiting for my table. **LOCATION & PARKING:** This might be as helpful as a..."

"After selecting alternative dishes, the troubles continued when the restaurant failed to remove the duck from our bill, leading to an incorrect charge of $40. When we brought it to their attention, the resolution process was anything but smooth. They informed us that the refund would take 2 to 3 days to process, and, without prior notice, they recharged us the correct amount, which totaled almost $400. It was clear that Cork Tree Restaurant does not focus on providing exceptional dining experiences or catering to special celebrations. Instead, it seems to attract patrons who are willing to spend large sums on a single meal. In contrast, our visit to Cliffside was a delight—outstanding food, impeccable service, and a lovely atmosphere, all at a surprisingly lower price point. The differences between our experiences at Cork Tree and Cliffside underscored the importance of attentive customer service and quality dining. Cork Tree’s attempts to make amends, which included offering a gift card or voiding our bill, felt insufficient once the damage to our honeymoon experience had been done. As retail store managers ourselves, we understand customer service standards and that mistakes can occur. We’re not ones to make unreasonable complaints; we've dealt with our fair share of difficult customers. However, the series of errors at Cork Tree resulted in a significant amount being held on our account during our honeymoon, without any prior notice or a clear resolution. In conclusion, if you're in search of a remarkable dining experience, you might want to consider places like Cliffside, which prioritize exceptional service and high-quality cuisine without the steep prices associated with Cork Tree Restaurant."
