"Tonight was the worst culinary experience I had in every restaurant in my life. Somehow it's like you're pretending you never did. After sitting, we waited almost 35 minutes before someone set to our table. I had to fly a server to get our drinks orders. We went ahead and ordered our food as we had half an hour or so take a look at the menu that took another 45 minutes to get the main part of the duck. The sides finally came to the table for one and a half hours. After receiving our food, I went to empty tables (which there were very few, since the place hopped) in search of bottles of salt and pepper shakers that were not as shown in the photos below, without luck. I received undercoppers and inedible Hushpuppies with my meal (which are shown below). It is quite clear that the owner of this facility is more concerned with the lining of their bags with the money of customers who expect decent service and a good meal, by revising their already underused servers and capitalizing on their hard work sitting in a comfortable chair somewhere different than their equipment that pays their bills. That was absolutely pathetic. I cannot believe that they charge money for locals and visitors equally for such bad service and disgusting conditions. My following review will be Facebook, and then the Sullivan County Health Department on Monday morning. Save your time and don't eat here. For all employees who need better conditions, find me on Facebook and ask me about a job with better pay and better working conditions. Update: I also spoke to the wonderful manager who reduced our meal and made sure that the owner was not there. The busiest night of the week. It's in a restaurant. This really shows where the priorities of the owners lie. Painful guidance."

Food was really good, but our server, Amy Mosier, was fabulous!!! She never missed a beat with refills, checking on us, we never had to ask for anything. She was funny and had us laughing, too. When my enormous plate of BBQ tater tots and mac and cheese arrived, I was instantly impressed. It didn't take long to notice the incredible aroma, vibrant presentation, and delicious taste. I initially thought I wouldn't need a to-go box, but I was wrong—I definitely did. All of this for just around $16? I was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be returning often! The food was excellent and the bride was wonderful. The staff members were friendly and very professional. The only issue we encountered was that they were understaffed, which resulted in our food taking over an hour to arrive. However, that’s not really the bride's fault; the manager was even helping out in the kitchen. Despite the wait, I would definitely return. Oh, and the blue cheese was also absolutely fantastic!

I’ve ate here many times over the Decades! Don’t confuse them with the Historic Ridgewood BBQ that’s nearby! Anyway this place does have great servers and Huge proportions on a pulled pork platter it will feed a 3 people! Depending on when you come Can be hit or miss with quality but they do have some good BBQ and Ribs also serve beer and have homemade deserts! Also Blue Cheese Dip is pretty good! Definitely worth a try around lunch time is the best and freshest time to get in there! They also have a Buffet as well!

I was extremely disappointed with both the food and service during my visit. I had eaten here years ago and remembered it as a great experience, but this time will definitely be my last. If you do decide to go, I recommend asking for Brenda; she was very sweet, helpful, and provided excellent service. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff was quite rude. We ordered Queso, and it was so watery that it was almost unrecognizable. When we requested a fix, they simply added some standard shredded cheese on top. First time there. Bad service. Had to ask several times for refills for drinks. Took long time for our food. They brought out 2 people's side dishes about 20 minutes before we got our main food. One lady didn't get her chicken sandwich (all she ordered) until 15 minutes after everyone else received their food. We had to ask for the baked potato that was never brought out.I can say the side dishes were wonderful. 2 of us got the bbq pork, neither of us liked it at all. 1 got the brisket, did not like it. I haven't looked at any reviews but sorry to say we will not go back. 1 said the ribs were good.

It took an hour for our food to arrive, and when it finally did, half of it was missing and one order was incorrect. While we waited for the mistake to be corrected, the rest of us went ahead and started eating since we had been waiting so long. As for the food itself, it was just average. My mother-in-law mentioned that her catfish was good, and my husband and I found the BBQ to be decent. However, the fries were excessively greasy and mushy, clumping together as if they had been overcooked in the fryer.
