"Now granted, we were late for our reservation. But we were still seated immediately. Then we waited 45 min after ordering for food (including forgetting my soup altogether) to see anything more. Half a glass of wine doesn't cover that up. When the food did arrive, it was pedestrian at best. I was informed they'd somewhat recently migrated the menu to a northern Italian motif with north African influences. Sounded really intriguing. Just added to the subsequent disappointment. The highly touted macro bowl was surprisingly lacking in flavor, and the pizza, while light and thin, were pathetically topped by even the most liberal standards. Quality over quantity, I get but the balance wasn't found here. In a word: Overrated. In another: Avoidable."

Great service. Interesting menu. By chance, Monday happened to be 1/2 iff wine by the bottle. Great deal! We didn’t finish so we took home. Waitperson was great! Food very tasty!

We love Lowell’s for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is always wonderful- fresh and flavorful- comes fresh from their garden. The staff is always pleasant and accommodating. The outside patio is quite lovely as well. Ver carta

Pasta was overcooked. Ordered a Fried Rice Bowl and the portion was so small in a tiny tiny bowl I had to double check with the waitress if it was a mistake which was not. And it was over $13.00. I felt tricked and everyone on our table was speechless. Overall it's an overpriced restaurant. I wouldn't go back.

The food at Peter Lowell's was good, not great. If you have gluten or other food issues, the menu can become rather limited. The service was pleasant, but one server was being trained and the overall impression was nice young people learning a job they had not yet mastered. They include an automatic 20% tip, which is fine, but it was based on the after-tax total, which is not fine. Also, to confirm the reservation, I was asked to sign up for Yelp! and was told it would directly take me to a confirmation page, but I only ended up with Yelp! on my phone, no confirmation possible. A pretty disappointing experience overall for a place I've wanted to try for a long while.
