Food was meh . Service terrible. Outdated smelly seating area. And 1/2 of menu was unavailable.

Sauerbraten was wonderful along with the draft German beer. Quiet room overlooking the water great for conversation without having to speak loudly. No one rushes you pick you menu choice or clear your plates before you are finished. Plan to go back soon.

Had the Schnitzel. The veal was so chewy and tough. Waste of money. Wife asked for more gravy. It took them so long to bring it she was actually done eating. Service was horrible. Hardly anybody there and took then forever to get us drinks and food took even longer. Never going back . Highly recommend not to go there.

I started my meal with a glass of German Riesling from Bex, which was delightful and full of flavor. For dinner, I had the sour roast, served with potato pancakes, red cabbage, and a touch of apple sauce. It was absolutely delicious, and I can't wait to go back! I’ve been telling everyone about how wonderful Pine Grove Inn is. The owner was friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. Ver carta

This restaurant used to be an icon. My last two visits the place was empty, it was 65 degrees. The beet salad was fresh. The stroganoff which is supposed to be a signature meal was mostly mushrooms and little meat, no gravy and luke warm. I didn't even stay for dessert seeing I was very disappointed. If a restaurant can not keep its business flowing, they shouldn't be open. Its a shame as this place is on the water.

We ordered a few appetizers, but they arrived at staggered times, so we ended up eating at different intervals. Once we finished our appetizers, I found myself having to clear the plates because nobody came to take them away. Although the waitress returned to take our drink orders, she left all the empty glasses on the table, forcing me to clear those away as well. When the main courses arrived, they were also served at different times. Some of our guests had already finished eating by the time the last dish finally arrived. Overall, this was the worst dining experience we've had, and we left very unhappy with the restaurant.

We went to celebrate my mother’s 80th birthday the table was not set up when we arrived. The restaurant was empty so no excuse on why it was not set. We ordered a few appetizers and they all came out at different times so we all wear eating at different times. And when we finished the appetizers I had to personally clean up the dishes because no one came back to take them away. However she did come back and take more drink orders and when she brought them she left all the empty glasses on the table so again I cleared them up.
