"My husband managed to eat his sandwich, though it was far from good, while my son found it terrible and said it tasted similar to the noodles. My kids and I couldn't eat the noodles at all. We alerted the waitress, who spoke with the manager, and they kindly removed the items from our bill. We decided to give the restaurant another chance and ordered burgers and a chicken wrap instead. Unfortunately, the burgers were not much better—they had undercooked, pink patties and were lacking in flavor, requiring extra ketchup to make them palatable. The macaroni salad on the side was bland and slightly sour. The chicken wrap fared a little better but still didn't measure up to similar offerings we've had elsewhere. Ultimately, the quality of the food did not justify the prices, and the Asian dishes we tried should not have been served at all. The manager's reaction to our feedback felt defensive and dismissive, which added to our disappointment with the meal. The only redeeming quality of our visit was our waitress, who was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend dining here due to the subpar food quality and the concerning attitude of the management. Save your money and seek a better dining experience elsewhere."

"We had brunch there this morning and it was excellent. We had also been there last sunday and just had to go back. It’s so pretty there and the staff are always so nice and the food is always great. "We have been fans of your restaurant for many years; in fact, it’s my favorite in the area. However, I was very disappointed during our visit last Saturday night. I dined with my husband and adult kids, and we opted not to have an appetizer or salad—just a glass of wine. After we placed our order, we waited for over an hour before our dinner arrived. It struck me after we left that you have recently started using DoorDash, which seems to have resulted in prioritizing those orders over loyal customers dining in. I believe this is not a sustainable approach for the long term. If takeout orders are going to take precedence, it would make sense to have a dedicated chef for that service, while the current staff focuses on providing a great experience for patrons who are dining in. I sincerely hope management will take this feedback to heart and consider making changes to better prioritize customers who come to enjoy their meals in-house."

"Wow! This restaurant, located on the marina just before the causeway to Oak Island, is definitely worth a visit. The ambiance beautifully captures the essence of a classic American Italian restaurant without feeling stuffy or outdated. The menu is simply amazing; there are so many delicious options to choose from! They also offer a fantastic selection of wines. The service is exceptional—we were greeted and seated promptly, and our server was very friendly. As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed with fresh bread drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkled with shredded cheese. To start, we shared a bowl of mussels that were cooked to perfection. For my main dish, I ordered the osso bucco, while my friend chose a generously-sized bone-in veal chop. Everything was absolutely perfect, and we left feeling stuffed and happy."

"Best restaurant in Southport!! We had an amazing lunch. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect. I have two young energetic children and we felt like we were in the perfect place! The kids meals were affordable and the variety was great! Our server Kelsey was phenomenal. We were tired after 3 hours of driving and she was so patient with us. I couldn't decide and she suggested the fried oysters between what I had narrowed down, and I am SO glad she did. They were huge and so filling. She was amazing with my kids...I was so appreciative of her patience. Random additional thought: The drink glasses are HUGE. Normally I need 3 or 4 water refills, but I didn't need one. And they have the good chewy ice! So glad I spent time researching to find this place!"
