Pizzeria Paradiso - Carta

The pizzas are absolutely fantastic and flavorful, and the staff is wonderfully friendly. You can also order gluten-free crusts and request vegan cheese. I highly recommend visiting if you're in Georgetown. There's something for everyone!

We had a great experience at this restaurant. We tried the wings and the pizza, and the pizza was delicious with an ample amount of prosciutto on top. The wings were just average, but the service was excellent. I would certainly recommend this spot!

Great atmosphere. Pizza and alcohol. Nothing more, nothing less. You get exactly what you pay for. I had Bottarga pizza. The pizza dough was fresh and cooked expertly. The eggs were perfectly cooked into the pizza, the yolk remained run-y and delicate. Jose was very attentive to our table and made the dining experience pleasant. Ver carta

Visited DC on holiday a few weeks ago with my partner and we ate at Pizzeria Paradiso twice in th space of four days firstly at the Dupont Circle location and then here in Georgetown. We rarely visit the same restaurant twice during a vacation but the pizza was excellent. Great balance, good ratio of sauce and cheese with a light crust. The service was on point as well.

I visited on November 12, 2022, and my niece ordered pepperoni pizza. Unfortunately, she didn’t like the pepperoni being placed on the bottom, and the cheese was burnt. She only managed to eat two slices. I had the meatball panini with chips, but my first bite was predominantly bread with just a little meat—it had way too much bread for my liking. Despite this, we plan to return and try something different next time. The customer service and atmosphere were excellent.

Really didn?t expect to write a two star review for this place, but here we are. Pizza I ordered?the Sicilia, if I remember correctly?was bland, watery, and chewy. The vegetable toppings, largely unseasoned, were congealed and slippery. It was the first time in months that I hadn?t finished the food on my plate?not because of my appetite, but the taste. Great pizza and a really great beer selection! The staff was very friendly and we ended up sitting at the bar to take advantage of their happy hour. The bartender recommended some great beer choices! Their pizzas are thin crust and incredibly delicious. I ended up with the four cheese pizza but added pepperoni. The 9” comes with 4 fairly good size slices and I polished it off with no problem...but it could be shared if you’re not really hungry. We’ll definitely be coming back here soon!

The restaurant is conveniently located right on M Street. However, when we entered, the host hardly acknowledged us and simply gestured towards our table with a grunt, which felt a bit odd. The pizza was on the pricey side but quite tasty. The buffalo wings, although not very large, were decent enough, and the homemade blue cheese dressing was excellent. The new “no tipping” policy is worth noting; they now add a 20% fee to every dine-in bill. As someone from Boston, I've had better pizza, but overall, it’s a decent and relatively affordable option for Georgetown.

Can you enjoy the pizza crust here without any ranch? Absolutely! You'll probably want to savor even more of it. We ordered a Margherita Pizza, which is a great benchmark for assessing whether a pizzeria uses quality ingredients and skillfully executes their cooking and presentation. We also tried a cheese pizza with a sweeter sauce for the kids. The ingredients were top-notch, featuring 00 Caputo flour. The sauces could have been a bit more robust, but they were still tasty. I would have liked a bit more cheese on the Margherita Pizza. As for the cooking technique, the chefs here deserve credit; they truly know how to create a perfectly baked pizza.
