have eaten many paintings over the last 3 years and never had bad food. they can be overcrowded and eat can take a little longer, but was always fresh hot and service with a smile. great food, no matter what they order breakfast or lunch / dinner.

On another visit, I ordered the ribs, and they were absolutely terrible—no flavor whatsoever. Hoping for a better experience, I decided to give them a second chance by trying something different, but unfortunately, that visit was even worse than the first. Ver carta

The best ribs in the Dallas Metro area! The food is fantastic, the service is excellent, and I really enjoy the restaurant's vintage decor. The Cowboy Beans are among the best I've ever tasted, and the vegetable skewers are remarkable. The baby back ribs are truly tender and melt in your mouth. I just wish I lived closer so I could dine here every day. Service: Dine-in; Meal type: Lunch.

Sorry to say but this place turned to trash. Steaks weren't good cuts and no season.. just a piece of meat. The wait for your food was horrible, timed an hour and 10 minutes from the time of order to getting to my table. Restaurant was not even busy. Wait staff was complete garbage. I had a sweet tea and they couldn't even refill me after asking twice. Never coming back to this dump. Service: Dine in

I had a surprisingly comfortable bathroom experience at this country restaurant. However, my boyfriend joked that the food tasted like it came from there. To be fair, the atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. I ordered a veggie omelet, but it was a bit strange—essentially just fresh-cut vegetables folded into a very cheesy omelet. My boyfriend's meal was quite dry, and the hash browns were served cold. Overall, we had a dine-in breakfast experience. Ver carta

This place is a scam. Only been here three times and got burned each time. I ordered a $13 quesadilla. The first picture is what I got — like a mini 4” baby one. For $13.. I went back and asked for a refund and they led me to believe they were making another one the correct size and explained “there was mix up on the size of the tortilla.” The second picture is what they gave me — a half of the first one. It was mostly beans and tasted awful. I want a refund please.

The first time I went it was great! I got a steak and asked for extra seasoning on the side and had no problem. I went tonight with my friend and after I asked for extra steak seasoning I was told they only use salt and pepper, I just said okay and ordered my steak medium rare and my friend ordered his medium rare as well. After receiving our steaks our waiter set them down and asked if we needed sauces and did not make sure the steaks were cooked correctly. My steak was so dry the meat looked white after cutting into it. My friends steak was cooked well done. I have been to Prairie House multiple times over the years and each has been a great experience. The food here is down home cooking, I've never had an order and not loved what I've gotten. It is located in the crossroads intersection, diagonal from Walmart off of 380. I stopped in for lunch today, I'm meeting I was headed to was canceled so I stopped for an early lunch. I got there around 11:00, so I was one of the first people to be seated. I ordered tea and the Tuesday special which was a barbecue plate served with brisket, chicken breast and your choice of sides.
