Came here on a Saturday morning for brunch. Chicken sandwich was AMAZING but took a really long time to get our food. I think they were understaffed. Mimosas helped though (they have lots of flavors!

I guess there's a reason why they have a 5-star rating here. What a quirky, cool place with a great menu. The menu was compact, but so much. Several articles were made in a vegetarian/vegan option or gluten-free. The service was good, but the waiting staff was so friendly and thorough and seemed as if they were really well maintained. We had a delicious lunch on Sunday. We loved the delicious fried chicken sandwich, but were sad that we forgot to ask for honey. The pommes were delicious, and the Mac and the cheese with green chili chorizo was by far my favorite. The cinnamon roll bread pudding is worth saving space. Great prices and service, do not let the Shabby Chic Lot you wrong. High-quality leaks.

This place definitely has a hipster vibe. While there’s only outdoor seating, they provide ample heating, so even on a chilly, windy day, we felt warm and comfortable. The food was absolutely fantastic! Everyone, including my picky grandmother, enjoyed every dish. There is only street parking available, and the seating is limited, but it was definitely worth it. Plus, they’re dog-friendly!

Funky little place with the most kind and considerate staff. Outdoor patio, covered, with heaters in the winter. We loved the chorizo macaroni and cheese, and the elite off the cob. I did not get to try the Falafel Burrito (he really liked it). I found the prime rib and meatball sandwiches good, but a bit rich for me, and we had filled up on the sides. The very definition of comfort, the food, of course. But the atmosphere on the grotto/patio is also comforting. Top it off with some menu-inspired Craft beer choices, and you'll be lookin round for a recliner to bliss out on. Make sure to ask for pairings. No more perfect example than the dbl IPA and the dbl Piedmont Beef BURGERS. There's great comfort in the knowing that the next bite/sip will be like the first; a fookin taste sensation you'll always remember, and pine for. This is SERIOUS FOOD, PEOPLE!

The fried chicken sandwich was incredibly tasty—not too greasy—and came piled high with garlic jack cheese and homemade Kalli Slaw. The portions are generous, leaving you with a satisfied belly after the meal! I didn't quite get why people rave about the infused fruit waters, but they really are fantastic. The blueberry-infused water is refreshing and hydrating, and best of all, it's free! Make sure to save room for dessert, as they collaborate with local favorites, Long Beach Creamery and Pie Bar.
