"I think It’s the only option to try Indian Cuisine in Lake Charles. And it’s good! Not one of the best Indian restaurants that I tried all over the states, however, considering LC is a small town, it’s good, especially their hospitality. The Waitress cum cashier is extremely efficient, and observant to the customer's need even if you don't tell her. Some of the foods are good. I tried Chicken Biryani the other day, which is not good nor it’s a traditional Biryani. They do not have the best Chai too. However their vegetable samosa, kheer, mixed gyro are good to eat again. Recommended because of their exceptional hospitality."

The buffet at this restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced! I particularly enjoyed their butter chicken, one of the best I've had!

Raja’s is a notebook in our restaurant lineup. They consistently deliver excellent service delicious foods day in the day trip. The fed chicken, chicken gyro over rice, and the Gulab Jamun are some of our favorite dishes at Raja. Lake Charles is lucky to have this gem of a restaurant! Ver carta

This is a fantastic spot for Indian cuisine. The bread is served hot and fresh with a delicious garlic butter topping. The hummus is full of flavor, the best in the city. I also tried the mixed gyro platter, which was packed with tasty meat and toppings. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Indian/Mediterranean food’s best kept secret in beautiful Lake Charles, Louisiana. This place tops all other Indian/Curry food I’ve ever tried. We moved to Texas, however, we go to Raja’s every time we visit town!!! (Can we give it 6th star??? Their Gyro platter (mixed) is to DIE FOR!!! See pic)

Authentic cuisine. Went on a Saturday for lunch and it was not packed. Buffet is about $10.50ish. Buffet items were fresh and hot. Good variety. Friendly table service that was attentive. The food was favorful and unique. A great change from the usual places we eat at. When you walk in you can smell the spices. Clean areas. Ver carta

Indian food at it's best! The lunch buffet was simply amazing. Every item I tried was freshly prepared and quite tasty. It was seasoned perfectly resulting in food hot enough to open my sinuses but not tasting like spices were added to make it hot. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The price was on the high side for a lunch buffet but considering the quality of food it was priced appropriately.

Vegetables Samoa Garlic Naan Butter Chicken I want to go here, I told the waitress I never ate, and she was so patient in explaining what the dishes were! I almost sat right now! The food was so delicious! I don't have a reference frame, but surely it's up there with the best of them! I'm right now. Eating was hot with big flavors. Place was clean with superfreendly waitresses! I mean, even the sweat tea was very good! I will definitely always stop here while I visit the casinos, and I will be sure to come several times during my stay at future visits to Lake Charles! Thanks, everything was great!

"First, let me start by: I really wanted to like this place Unfortunately, as you can see in the picture: that didn’t work out. Our outing started out nice for my birthday brunch, but half way through my “chefs choice” omelette I was in for a rude awakening. I was pretty grossed out at what I found in my omelette dark hair) and even more so at the conflict resolution between my server Mary) and the Chef’s resolve. Firstly, we brought this up very calmly and kindly to our server and asked her if she could please take the plate away and she was apologetic and SUPER soft spoken). I asked her as a alternative to the situation if she could bring just a new side of pulled pork and avocado sauce the filling of the “chefs choice” omelette). I was extremely shocked and even more grossed out) when she came back and said “chef inspected for more hairs and said it was clear and replated it for you”. I was really confused as to why they would replate the same omelette I was grossed out by and found the hair in and try to pass it off as okay. I was simply asking for a “new side of the pulled pork” I don’t know where that got lost in translation When I asked our server Mary) for the check, my girlfriend noticed she charged us for a pulled pork sandwich $16) when we ordered a $22 chef choice omelette. We brought it up to her and she mentioned she wrote a sandwich when she first took the order. Very confusing and seems avoidant on behalf the management here. I figured a manager or even the chef would have tried to come out and resolve or at least be apologetic about the unwanted hair in my food. Sucks that this was my birthday brunch experience. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back next time."
