Rio Bravo - Carta

The best home-style Mexican food I've had in a long time! The steak tips with Verde sauce were excellent.

We visited for lunch, but unfortunately, the restaurant is currently closed for construction. There's no information available about when it will reopen.

Rio Bravo is currently undergoing a complete renovation and is scheduled to reopen by the beginning of October 2021. The updates promise to be a significant improvement both inside and out! Ver carta

This was a quaint little place in Terlingua. Chips and salsa were great and the chicken fajitas were tasty and had a little kick to it. Crispy taco was also good.Enchilada had a weird taste but other than that, food was great.

The food was genuinely authentic and somewhat different from what I grew up with, but I had a feeling it would be fantastic. I wasn't disappointed at all. They close at 7 PM due to COVID restrictions. It's a small, family-run establishment, which is exactly my kind of place. The staff was very friendly. We attempted to dine here twice before finally making it back to town in time. I highly recommend giving it a try!

This place has legit red enchiladas and tacos fritos. I could eat them by the dozen. Their salsa has zero heat AND they don 't have a real kitchen salsa for those wanting to spice it up. The chile relleno was spot on delicious. I should have asked them to slather it in red sauce. Ask them when you go. The folks running the place are really friendly and they run the 5 tables inside and 3 picnic benches outside joint well. Get there early or late, because the seating is very limited. I imagine I 'll eat here a bunch during the next 3 weeks...

We attempted to visit this restaurant last week while on vacation at Big Bend National Park. Initially, we had difficulty locating it because the Yelp map directed us to a different spot, although we were able to see the actual restaurant on our Apple Maps. When we finally reached the area, we discovered that the sign had been removed and the restaurant was closed, likely for renovations. Just a heads up—before you make the trip from the park, it might be wise to call ahead and check if they've reopened, as I’m not sure how long they will be closed. Ver carta
