"A small restaurant in a strip mall, that has high table and chairs, but no booth seating. The decor and atmosphere is nothing spectacular but the y make up for it with the presentation of their food plus their customer service is beyond friendly and very helpful. We started with the most amazing crab Rangoons-definitely rated at a 10/10 for me. We then tried the new curry ramen which delivered amazing flavors. I really enjoyed the fried seaweed in it too. We got a sushi board with fried rice. We tried the Tiger and Dragon rolls. Both were beautiful and tasted fresh. The Tiger roll is fried and is a great introductory sushi roll in my opinion. Plus that fried rice was so buttery and probably my favorite fried rice I've had! Would definitely go back and try some of the other menu items -like their chicken sushi roll!"

We came here to try some sushi because we saw on Yelp that it was really good.

I don't think I've ever written a review on yelp but I have to for Jack at Rock & Roll.

This restaurant has set a high standard for all other sushi spots. I can truly say it's the best sushi I've ever had, and the staff is exceptional. The rolls are huge, and the fish is unbelievably fresh. I find myself visiting at least once a week, and sometimes even twice in one day. They also have a fantastic offer: if you spend $28 or more, you get a complimentary appetizer (either gyoza or spring rolls). If you come here and don't enjoy your meal, I really have to question your taste, because you would be objectively missing out. Ver carta

This charming little restaurant serves an amazing selection of sushi that is simply delicious. We sampled the weekly special, a crunchy California roll, along with a seaweed salad and miso soup. Additionally, we ordered a spicy tuna roll, which was exquisite. To drink, we chose Japanese milk tea, and everything was truly delightful. For dessert, we savored matcha ice cream, which was just as fantastic. The waitress was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful dinner here and are eagerly looking forward to our next visit for more!

Great place for someone with anxiety , calm welcoming atmosphere. Went here for the first time about a week ago , great price for the quality of sushi! Very short wait time , friendly staff, and even at a low price their food presentation was beautiful! Make sure to tip , there’s only a few workers and they bust their tails making sure they work fast! It’s a small casual place to get sushi and I believe it was just as good as higher end places. New favorite sushi place : my boyfriend and I got full and only spent roughly $30 which is great when comparing to other sushi places!

"We ate here during the Paseo Arts Festival. We initially tried to make a reservation using Open Table, but someone from the restaurant called me a few days later to inform me that Picasso Cafe was not taking reservations during the Arts Festival. We arrived at 12:15 pm and put in our names. Our party was called just before 1:00 pm. Fortunately, we had the Arts Festival to keep us busy while we waited. I ordered the chicken and avocado sandwich. It sounded good in the menu description -- seared chicken breast, avocado slices, swiss cheese, bacon, and bourbon honey mustard. However, I ordered it without the cheese because I have been to too many places where they do not know how to melt cheese on grilled sandwiches and I don't want to be a picky customer on my second visit to a restaurant. Anyway, it was difficult to hold the sandwich together. I ended up taking the avocado slices off of it so that there was enough friction for me to hold it together and eat it. The seared chicken breast was the best part, closely followed by complimentary lettuce and tomato (crisp and cold) and the honey mustard (good mix of sweet and tangy). I ordered the napa cabbage slaw for my side dish. It was served with a light dressing so that the cabbage stood out. This is not a slaw for people who prefer not to taste the cabbage. I would like to come back and try some more things. However, if I have the chicken sandwich again, I am going to leave out both the swiss cheese and the avocado. I would also like to see if they have a wheat bun because that would pair better with this mix of flavors and textures."
