delicious house style eating to reasonable trips. when they go through snowhill, they do not miss a good meal.

I was traveling back from Wilson, NC and stopped in. The reception from the staff was great. Our waitress was amazing and the food was wonderful.

great service, friendly people everywhere. it's not fast to eat. so relax and enjoy the coffee. discover the place a little and look around. you will eat soon enough and it's really good. Ver carta

Wonderful Sunday buffet. Lots to choose from. Down home country food. Best items include fried chicken, pork chops, chicken pastry and tenderloin with gravy. Don't forget to get some banana pudding.

The waitresses were very nice, they took a little bit to ask for our drinks, and to bring the food out, when there wasnt very many ppl. But the food was good. Not great, but I would eat there again if we are ever in the area again.

My first visit was wonderful. The facility is country chic. The staff was quiet yet had a strong helpful presence. The food...we came at breakfast...was well proportioned, lightly seasoned and well done. I fell in love with the grits; creamy, just enough oil/butter , and a hint of salt. That's all y'all. rouse’s is one of our favorite restaurants! whether it is breakfast, Sunday buffet or a week evening meal, feeding butter is great! everything tastes fresh; it is not over seasoned and if the order from the menu comes from the hot cake! from my home to restaurant is about 20 minutes, but it seems longer to expect what is waiting!

Have been a loyal customer for years. Never had any issue until recently. Went there this evening, was seated and waitress got our drink order and placed our food order. After waiting patiently for 45 minutes with no food being brought out the waitress comes over and tells they ran out of white meat fried chicken. I asked the young lady to have them cook more. She stood there and didn’t know how to reply. I asked again to have them cook more. She still stood speechless. Fina

while I visited family in the neighbourhood, I decided to treat everyone to rouse’s. that was delicious. I ordered a black apron with black eyebrows, cauliflower, fried chicken plates with fried green tomato, chicken pliers with fries, grill ribbed plate, baked beans, macaroni cheese, hush welpen. the quality of the food was excellent for the worth. my family is picky and they really enjoyed all the food. everything was good except the bbq ribs were extremely salty. the variety of sides and plates is plentiful. make this their first stop to dinner in snow hill. the food is made with love here.
