"Golden Chopsticks has always been our favorite spot for authentic Chinese cuisine. Each dish is made to order and always tastes fresh and delicious. We’ve been loyal patrons for decades, starting from its original location and continuing after the move to the new one. It’s remarkable to think we’ve been dining here since our son was just 5 years old, and now he is 38! That certainly speaks volumes about the quality of the restaurant. Peter, the owner, along with his family, are wonderful hosts. Our favorites include the home rolls, Kung Pao Beef, Shrimp Chop Suey, Beef Broccoli, and Garlic Shrimp. We don’t mind driving an hour just to enjoy this food! Just two weeks ago, we stopped in and were as satisfied as ever! - Barb Scott"

"Picked up a to go order for myself and my fiancé. I order pancakes and corn beef hash with fruit. There was no fruit in the bag, but I wasn’t too worried about it because the pancakes were great and the corn beef hash was well executed. I am I chef and I was appalled at my fiancé’s order though. She ordered eggs benedict . The sauce was completely broken. I spoke to Niko and he told me that the hollandaise sauce broke because is goes into the container too hot? That’s just incorrect. It breaks due to preparation errors.I gave him a chance to make it right but he decided to feed me a line, saying “if it wasn’t delicious we could come back and he would remake it” Nobody wants to go back to a restaurant after getting their food. On top of the broken hollandaise, my fiancés eggs were overcooked. Unimpressed for my first time visit."

"Ats-a-Nice Pizza in Romeoville: A Heartbreaking Decline After 30+ Years of Loyalty We’ve been loyal patrons of Ats-a-Nice Pizza for over 30 years, but after our visit on January 4, 2025, it’s safe to say that we will not be returning. This once-beloved establishment has taken a sharp turn under new management, and sadly, the quality, service, and overall experience have declined so drastically that it no longer resembles the restaurant we cherished for decades. Our group of four included two elderly individuals, both of whom had fond memories of dining here. Unfortunately, those memories were tarnished last night. The food quality has plummeted: pizzas were sparsely topped, sauces were noticeably skimpy, and the signature Paulie’s original thin crust—always a highlight—was undercooked. The BBQ chicken pizza was particularly disappointing; the chicken tasted rubbery, as though it had been sitting out far too long, leaving us feeling unwell after eating it. To make matters worse, when we went to settle the substantial bill, one of my companions attempted to use a Restaurant . com discount coupon—a program this restaurant has participated in for years. Instead of honoring it or politely informing us of a policy change, the waiter returned with a message from the manager, accusing my companion of being a “scammer.” This baseless accusation was not only insulting but deeply upsetting, especially given the circumstances. When we asked to speak with the manager to clarify, they refused to come out of the back, leaving the waiter—who was visibly uncomfortable—to handle the fallout. This behavior felt cowardly and disrespectful, especially toward customers who have supported the establishment for decades. If the new management has decided to discontinue participation in community programs like Restaurant . com, they owe it to their patrons to communicate that clearly and respectfully, rather than resorting to accusations and hiding from accountability. Furthermore, the current state of the food does a disservice to the legacy of Paulie and the original spirit of Ats-a-Nice Pizza. We left feeling disappointed, disrespected, and heartbroken. Losing customers who have stood by your restaurant for over three decades is not a sustainable way to run a business. Until this management demonstrates respect for its patrons and a commitment to restoring the quality and service that once made this place special, we’ll be taking our business elsewhere."

"I was impressed by their authentic offerings, including tacos, sopes, and gorditas. The chorizo con papas torta, chicharrón gordita, rajas con queso taco, and chile relleno taco were all fantastic, and their red and green salsas were delicious. The veggie burrito was enormous and flavorful, although it could have benefited from a few more ingredients, like rajas. I would definitely return when I'm in the area and try more dishes!"
