The staff are friendly and atmosphere is nice. But the BBQ has the texture and taste of being previously cooked and heated up in a steam box. The beans taste like chilli gone bad. And the 2 sauces they offer are almost identical in taste not enoughvariation between the 2 to make much of a difference.

I travel to TX frequently for work and always stop at Rudy’s for the moist brisket. I was pleasantly surprised to see a Rudy’s in PCB and they didn’t disappoint! Awesome spot! It can be a bit confusing to order since everything is a la carte, but the cashier was super patient and even offered us samples of the moist brisket and turkey—both were delicious! They have a bar with pickled veggie toppings for your sandwiches, and they provide bags of bread since the meat is sold by the pound, so you can make multiple sandwiches. Oh, and there are beer and cup holders in the bathroom stalls—pretty cool!

REAL BBQ!!!! Texas knows a BBQ and this place is legit. The young lady at the front desk is so kind and welcoming! The staff at the cafe line are really poor customer service, hope someone can address that, but then you get the food and it?s A-MAZING! It?ssuch a great value too, Ribs, Brisket, Chicken, sides, all so delicious and affordable. I will bring the family here a few timeswhile visiting PCB. Best BBQ, best prices, so satisfied. Maybe just find some better staff at the checkout, but I still love yaRudy

Real Wood BBQ! See my pictures! Food is the same as in Texas. Brisket is good and has the taste of the Hill County oak smoke! They do not have whole pickles though like in Austin. Very clean. Staff is sleepy and relaxed you don?t see that in Texas butit?s a Florida thing. Slow and relaxed. Was very happy to find a piece of Texas in Fla. Phillip was fun and smiled a lot! Greatguy! People who complain about the menu or A La Carte just don?t understand the culture of this BBQ. No Loud Greetings for thefirst timers though like they do it in TX!

Here we have Rudy?s BBQ a self described ?Texas Style BBQ? restaurant chain. First off, the ordering process is chaotic and everything is A La Cart. You order your preferred meat and then whatever sides you want which you have to leave the counter andgo to the refrigerator to get. Then they give you a weird looking coke crate tray to carry everything in. On to the food. Thetwo times I have eaten here, both times the food was just OK. The brisket I had last was dry, somewhat tough, and had no bark onit and not much flavor. It reminded me of meat that had been reheated in a steamer.
