"My wife and I were looking for somewhere to eat and we remembered a friend told us about The Rustic Wheel house in downtown Chester. We were not disappointed as we are very critical when it comes to eating out! The food was excellent! I had the Homemade Pappardelle with a light mushroom cream sauce and my wife had the salmon baked in parchment paper and a nice salad comes with your dinner! Family owned husband is the chef and wife works the front end and even stopped by our table! Can’t wait to go back as we have been very disappointed with so many restaurants in the area! Also our waiter was excellent!"

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. You even check if you have any questions about the menu. The whole place, including the bathroom, was clean and organized. Such a great environment for a meal.

We were there on Sunday afternoon and it was pretty quiet. The interior is spacious with some local artworks to buy on the walls. The staff was friendly and the food was good. The waitress mentioned that the salad dresses are made in the house. Ver carta

Family owned and operated, serving delicious Italianate food like pizza and gnocchi. Seating on ground floor and lower level. Both levels have full bars with multiple beers on draft. Spacious tiled bathrooms. No wi-fi. Friendly, efficient waitstaff. On April 17th, 2019 Larry Sharpe appeared here after his historic run for NY Governor as the Libertarian Party’s candidate.

The service is amazing! Dustin was amazing. My only reason for 4 stars is that I felt that the portion sizes were a little strange for pricing. They gave my husband a very small part of Ravioli and me a decent part of chicken. The food was quite good, but we will probably not be back because it seems a little overpriced for the portion sizes of some of the menu items. I wish I had to try the tiramisu or the cheesecake, but they were all out.

My favorite place to dine in Chester! I was often in Rustic Wheelhouse for lunch and once for dinner. Every time I had something else, and every time I was very happy with the meal. During my last visit the waiter (who was very sweet) suggested I try the pizza. I'm so glad I did it because it's one of the best pizzas I've had for some time. Kudos at this beautiful family business to give their customers delicious food at reasonable prices in a comfortable family-friendly environment. Ver carta
