"You can take logging roads to this sleepy, little town that 's north of Crystal Falls.....that 's the fun route. Been coming to the Sawblade for many many years, often in the fall while we 're hunting grouse. Really nice bar/restaurant and we 've never disappointed with the food. Pizza is really tasty as are the burgers! One friend of ours always gets the wings , he says they are one of the best . All sorts of sauces to have with the wings. Nice selection of appetizers and sides. Just a fun, warm bar to hunker down and sip a KBC on draft or brew/cocktail of your choice. Cool old building located in a cool old logging town. They have a large room behind the bar to accommodate large groups and any overflow plus outside seating when weather allows Always friendly people are working there and don 't forget to get a Amasa Sawblade hoodie, t-shirt or sweatshirt while there."

Great food, friendly people. No real complaints except that last time I was there the staff was not wearing masks. I know things are a bit relaxed now but that's just wrong. May think rwice before going back.

This is a fantastic bar with an excellent atmosphere, tasty food, and attentive service. The food deserves a perfect score of 5, the service is also a solid 5, and the ambiance gets a 5 as well. Highly recommended!

Been here twice now, about a year apart. Food is delicious and worth the wait. Just make sure you are willing to wait. Last time was about an hour this time bout 1 and 1/2. The bartender was great and kept our beers full though. Will be back again, but will be expecting to wait. Ver carta

It was a snowy day, the roads weren't very good and we were hungry. Checked yelp and we found the Sawblade in Amasa. Bitsy, the bartender, was super friendly!! We got our drinks and food quickly. Burgers were good and filling! The fries were very yummy (fresh and local potatoes). Give it a try!!

Friday fish fry is very popular for good reasons. The fish is very tasty. They do start running out of specials early. The bluegill was out by 5:20, the cod by 5:35, and the walleye by 5:45pm. Luckily, the perch was excellent. We went back the next night for pizza, which the four of us loved. Service was quick and very friendly. I highly recommend.
