I had a great dinner at Rusty's a couple of years ago. My history with the area includes my father’s Seven Up Dr Pepper Bottling Company, which was just two doors down on Washington Street. I also spent many hours in Nossers Grocery Store nearby.

I've always liked dining here, but my experience last Saturday night was awful. The crab cakes were terrible, and when I had the coconut pie, I noticed the same unpleasant taste. I suspect old flour may have been used in both dishes. Please look into this. A refund for my husband's and my meals would be appreciated.

I've been here for two weeks now in Mississippi, and I have to say I've had some pretty awful meals , but of course on the last day here I find this AWESOME eatery great price great staff amazing food had the Crab Cakes, Steak 8oz with loaded potato and a side salad and was exactly what I have been looking for. We decided to make a stop during a long road trip, and I'm so glad we did! I ordered the grilled grouper sandwich, which was fantastic! The portion was generous and perfectly seasoned without being too salty. The onion rings were crispy and cooked to perfection. I also tried the cup of gumbo and regretted not getting the bowl instead! To top off our meal, we enjoyed Rusty's Mississippi Mud Cake—what a treat! If you're in the area or traveling along I-20, this place is definitely worth a visit for a delicious meal.

We went to Rustys last Saturday for my birthday. Arrived around 5 and waited appropriately 45 minutes which we didn't think was too bad. The place was packed. We ordered the fried crab legs and there were a TON. They were small and I didn't really love them but my boyfriend did. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was literally 2 servings and amazing!!! He ordered one of their specials, the Tournadoes or something like that. Two 4oz steaks topped with crab meat, shrimp and sauce on top with onion rings and loaded baked potato. We enjoyed our food and our experience.

To be honest, the food here is incredible. I really enjoy the fried green beans. However, the manager displays some serious prejudice, and it shows in her actions. I visit often, and today, while I was on the phone discussing someone else's experience at a hospital, I made a comment about how if a person were a different race, they might not receive the same treatment. The manager went out of her way to react negatively to my comment, as if it were her business. She even told me that I shouldn't have that kind of conversation in her restaurant. I believe I should be free to speak on the phone about whatever I want, and she is here to provide a service, not to monitor my discussions. My frien... Ver carta
