"Today me and my husband went in for lunch and there was a young lady that works there who has seizures sitting at a table looking as if she was about to have a seizure. Her coworkers were checking on her and then she started having them. This team took excellent care of their coworker (Mr. Beasley, Ashley never left her side and Victoria covered the floor while this young lady had multiple seizures). Unlike another time when we were leaving out and a manager disregarded her having a seizure and told the cashier to check on her and he left the building. Teamwork makes the dream work…"

Residents in this area who dine here regularly have no idea how fortunate they are! I really wish we had a place like this in Nashville!

I visited the restaurant on Thursday, June 15, at 4:30 PM. The food was hot, fresh, and just perfect. My waitress was a lovely and sweet lady. I will definitely be going back! Ver carta

It took a while for my food to be prepared and brought out, causing my second side to get cold. I have been dining at this restaurant on and off for several years. Thomas was a courteous server.

Hubby did not feel like cooking dinner after we left church but had a great idea. Let 's dine at S and S restaurant , he said. No problem with me. This restaurant has stood the test of time and still remains one of the best places to dine in Augusta, GA. Ladies, if your sweetie says that to you, be sure and tell him how brilliant he is. He might just suggest it again.

S&S restaurant has consistently offered excellent food. However, I've noticed that at the Augusta location, the dressing hasn't been sifted properly before being packaged for some time now. This can result in hard corn kernels at the bottom, which can be quite unpleasant to bite into. Fortunately, I haven't experienced this issue at the Macon locations, to my knowledge. Ver carta

The food was served lukewarm, and the presentation left much to be desired. The BBQ chicken was just okay—not particularly tasty. It's evident that the quality has declined over the years, and it doesn't compare to how it used to be. I wouldn't choose to return. The dining area was quite uninviting; it felt more like a senior living facility rather than a restaurant, and not due to the age of the patrons. The space could really benefit from a refresh with brighter colors, artwork, and better decor.

The dessert lady deserves a five-star rating! She made our experience truly delightful. We couldn't resist trying her buttermilk chess pie, sweet potato pie, and strawberry shortcake, all of which were exceptional. Her suggestions for food choices were excellent. It was a wholesome meal that left us satisfied. I wish I could remember her name, but she referred to me as a cheerleader, which shows how engaged she was. Truly, customer satisfaction at its finest! She is a fantastic addition to the team.

"Hands down the best food I've had in Augusta. In Augusta for work, and have been trying out various restaurants with the work crew. This place I is the first that had me saying I'm coming back. EVERYTHING was good! Seating is limited and there was a short (10min) then from there it's either buffet style or takeout option. We dined in, which gave me a chance to sample EVERYTHING. I started with the salmon in lemon sauce. Not overcooked and just delicious. This was my favorite. Seconds were had. Next up was the fried pork loin. Probably my least favorite protein but still good. I'm not much of a pork person and still enjoyed. Then the barbeque chicken. This..was..good. seasoned to the bone. For sides, there was some corn and lima beans and plain rice. After this, we had the beef gumbo. The gumbo truth be told was more a soup. For me gumbo needs to be a little thicker...heartier. Whatever you want to call it delicious. The beef was seasoned well, tender and the broth flavoured with okras. There was also a salad bar, and I just had a fresh salad. Typical salad toppings with some.black olives and jalapenos to spice it up a little. Not sure about the dressing, I did without. Then everything was topped off with the peach cobbler. I enjoyed this as well, probably because it was not overly sweet. But I know people are passionate about their cobbler, so opinions will very. All in all, I'm definitely going back and look forward to different daily dishes. We were told when leaving tomorrow (Friday) is fried chicken day."
