"We started out patronizing this restaurant when they were originally in Berwyn, decades ago. We moved back to McHenry and a few years ago Salernos moved there too. Now we live in Round Lake and still drive 30 minutes to pick up food from here. Our pizza is still hot and delicious when we get it home. They use fresh ingredients and real sausage. We go there at least once a month!Kid-friendliness: Great Kids meal options. My 5yr old granddaughter loves to go there.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible for people with disabilities."

Waitress didn't bring our appetizers. You get no bread with your pasta meal. Also no soup or salad included with meal. Combo beef sandwich was dry. Ver carta

Only ordered carry-out, so although I didn't dine in, it's a tad dark but not crowded.The wedge salad is scrumptious and the pizza tasty.Staff is friendly and prompt.

Yummy food, 1/2 price wine and domestic beers (Thursdays). Great service. You can't go wrong by going right to Salernos. Different specials daily make it easier to go out to eat!

I had the beef sandwich with fries, and it was excellent. Priced at just $10.00, it was quite reasonable compared to other restaurants I’ve tried. The atmosphere was also pleasant. Ver carta

We were nearby and chose to grab a quick meal. The food was excellent, and the service was fantastic! What more could you ask for? We tried the traditional crust pizza and cheese curds, and both were just what we needed!

I hosted a friend’s retirement party on their patio. I worked with Joe and Stephanie to set the party up. They were extremely helpful and made the whole process very easy. The day of the event everything went smoothly. The pizza was delicious and our waitress, Tiffany, was attentive especially when we had twice the turn out. Overall, a wonderful experience! Thank you
