Friendly service. Perfectly fried seafood. A great price.

Food was great. Real gumbo like it is suppose to be made. Great fried eggplant. We will certainly visit again

The food was delicious and generously portioned. Our waiter was lively and entertaining, offering excellent service. Overall, the dining experience was enjoyable for my family.

restuarant had no notice that I had made a reservation online. they seemed confused when I told them that. it took an hour to sit because of the crowd, but I was always told that I would be the next place and people still sit in front of me without reservation. that was amazing.

The service was terrible. They didn't acknowledge our online reservation and served us the wrong dishes, then blamed us for the error. The food was cold, and everyone in our section had to wait over an hour and a half for their meals. It took over 30 minutes just to get a drink and 45 minutes for our order to be taken. Ver carta

Decent menu, the food (with one exception) was good. The one exception was my burger which I ordered very rare . It came well done (no pink at all) and, thus, quite dry. Since, as a group, we were on vacation and having a good time I kept my mouth shut about it. Everyone else said their meals were good so it wasn 't a completely wasted time. The waitress, while polite, wasn 't the most attentive and didn 't keep track of our needs well at all. The service picked up towards the end but it wasn 't enough to salvage her tip.

I have booked over a week on open table or maybe even two in advance. chose it because it had great reviews for eating! but when we were there, there was no one on the stand of the hostess. there were 8 people who had come before us, had not been helped yet. the phone at the stand of the hostess ringed from the hook. after that stand there 10 minutes and older dame came up and began to ask people to help. she told them it would be 30 minutes to sit. the place was not so full. so that they have to be understaffed....then I told her I had made a reservation a week ago and the dame didn't even know what was open table, said she knew nothing about reservations and that it would wait fo...

I loved this place especially for fried seafood. the last time was terrible. it was Sunday brunch, I had family in the city, and I decided to bring them to sassafras. terrible decision. look, we are simple, far from the table of the girls who sat with them for an hour then leave without paying for terrible service. the worst thing is that they leave their customers in the dark. we waited for two hours for our food! I never heard of it. eating was cold because they wanted to wait for everyone to eat. at last the seafood was not good. nothing I remembered. please do it better. but it doesn't play a role for me because I won't be back. Oh no I have more, they do not take the online reservations... Ver carta
