We visited this restaurant a few years ago when we first moved to Chester County, and the kids really enjoyed it.

This is a wonderful ice cream shop that I love going to. The staff is so friendly and efficient. The ice cream is delicious! Parking in Malvern is easy and free.

I visited the restaurant tonight, and there were two staff members working. One was very friendly, but the other was quite rude. When I asked if she could make me a milkshake with peanut butter, she just pointed to the corner where the toppings were without mentioning that they didn't have any peanut butter available. When my milkshake arrived, it was basically just milk. It was really disappointing, especially since I brought my two little ones for a nice treat before school starts tomorrow.

I love Scoops for their ice cream and home-made water ice. Whether you're getting a pint to take home or just something to eat on their deck, it's great. I also adore that they take time off around some national holidays (like Memorial Day and Labor Day for their staff (mostly high school and college kids to take off and be with family. They announce closures on their social media (FB and IG so my friends and I know to make other plans (or just to wait an extra day for our fix! Only suggestions for improvement are from my friends (who want more dark chocolate ice cream and my sister (who wants no-sugar-added vanilla . I would also love a straight up blue moon.
