Eat lunch there with friends from time to time and love it. Parking: Got a great spot in the shade.

Food and service was very good, had lunch with an appetizer. Portions were generous and the prices were reasonable.

I visit Silver Caboose Soda Fountain frequently, and the food and service are consistently excellent! It’s my go-to spot for comfort food!

I stopped by to pick up a frozen dinner for tomorrow night. After cooking it, I ended up with mushy green beans and more mushroom soup than beans. The sweet potatoes were decent, as they're tough to mess up, but the squash was heavily breaded to the point where I couldn't even find the squash! The chicken dumplings were, well, just okay. What a horrible disappointment! I bought the frozen chicken and dressing and green beans for dinner. After cooking, the chicken and dressing was awful. Not sure the chicken was real, the gravy was like pudding/jello and the dressing had no taste. I could have saved $7.00 by opening a can of green beans because that’s what they tasted like. We didn’t eat any of it after one bite. I would not recommend frozen or otherwise meals from Silver Caboose. Never again. I do not recommend.

This is one of my fave places to eat! As always, service was friendly and perfect. My tea glass was never empty! My first time having the fried catfish, and I will definitely be back! Some of the best I've ever eaten, as were the hush puppies! As always, the chocolate chess pie was a yummy way to end the meal. We had a very short wait for our table, and even though the place was packed, our food came out quickly and we were checked on frequently and never lacked for anything! Just a great place to go!!

This was an absolutely incredible experience. The only downside was the long wait, which just shows how popular the place is and that seating is limited. Many elderly customers came in, and whenever we found seats to wait, we gave them up so they could sit. However, standing around felt a bit awkward since you’re in everyone’s way. Some of the carpet and equipment showed signs of wear, likely due to the heavy foot traffic, and could use some upkeep. Despite that, the decor, atmosphere, food, and staff were all top-notch. We all ordered different dishes, and everything was fantastic. Our server was friendly and even shared some laughs with us. The only items we didn’t enjoy were the pies—none... Ver carta
