I highly recommend this place! I ordered the egg sandwich and avocado toast, and they had the most incredible buns and bread I’ve ever tasted. I absolutely loved the egg sandwich. It’s the perfect spot for a lovely brunch date. I hope to visit again soon!

The Avocado Bacon Cheddar sandwich, topped with pickled jalapeños and aioli, was one of the best sandwiches I've had in ages. The green salad and dressing were the perfect complement. If you enjoy bold flavors that tantalize your taste buds, this is a place you must try! Ver carta

The best. Croissants are among the best I’ve had in the country, better than any in NYC. Bread is phenomenal. So are cakes, pies. Quiche- amazing. Great potato salad. Turkey and havarti sandwich is {chef’s kiss}. Buckwheat chocolate cookies combine the joy of cookies with the delight of brownie batter. The people are kind. I can’t stop eating their food. I won’t!

I ordered the Bacon Avocado Swiss sandwich along with a green salad and a refreshing ginger lemon drink. The sandwich was incredibly flavorful and had a delightful texture. The Aioli sauce was just right. The salad was fresh and crisp, paired with a dressing that was simply perfect—I’m not sure what it was, but it complemented the salad wonderfully. The drink was fantastic and made for a lovely addition while relaxing on my deck.

I recently ordered a custom Black Forest Cake and picked it up today. Understand: I've been on the planet a long time and our son is a professional pastry chef. This was *the* best cake I've ever had. The balance between the intense dark chocolate of the cake, the tang of the cherries and the light, not-too-sweet whipped cream was divine. It was super moist, almost pudding-like in its appeal yet still a cake. I can't say enough good things about this shop. Don't miss it. Ver carta

The Turkey Havarti as well as the Bacon Avocado sandwich are quite possibly the best bites in all of Hampshire County, no hyperbole. In no small part due to the incredible in-house bread they're served on. If meat isn't for you, the avocado toast is beauty on its own. Nothing you eat there will disappoint. There is this complex command of flavor using simple, fresh ingredients going on in the kitchen that is unique to this little shop. Cold brew coffee is sweet, smooth and rich. The friendliest, most patient staff. Will always recommend to anyone in the area. I look forward to eating my brunch there most every weekend.

My spouse and I ordered a small carrot cake for our tiny wedding. As usual, the team at Small Oven was friendly, warm, and helpful it's such a great atmosphere here, and we always love interacting with folks at this bakery. The cake itself was beautifully decorated, and the frosting was tasty! Unfortunately, we occasionally got bites that were very sour bitter, even metallic tasting.. it tasted like perhaps the baking soda or baking powder hadn't been fully mixed in, which is why I can't give the cake a rave review. Customer service and appearance were excellent, but the taste was unpredictable and even unpleasant at times, sadly.

Update 7/2023: The good had a carrot cake for my birthday in April, and it was AMAZINGLY delicious and beautiful. I highly recommend their cakes! The not so good I noted to the staff on one of my first visits in 2018 that their croissants are too dark, and this is still the case. Past the point of perfect caramelization. Also, the stollen Christmas bread we purchased in December 2022 was hard as a brick, and the team quickly refunded our purchase price.
